Tripadvisor is your friend but travelodges tend to be a universal safe bet.

What difference would that make. They are all the same and the staff are usually pleasent and professional. Really dont see what you are hoping to get from this thread.

Yes, used to go there and also to the Tibshelf and Sutton in Ashfield turnoff ones on the M1 when having an affair with a married woman years back. We'd get an early book-in, available from 12, and leave about 4. The staff knew what was going on, receptionists would sometimes even say "hope you both had great time" when checking out. Only ever had a disapproving look once from one woman receptionist as we left hand-in-hand, flushed and happy, without luggage.

This country should have 'love hotels' like some countries, where you can book beds by the hour for sex. But we're too repressed as a nation.
