A question for older men - 55+

By older I mean 55+.

When I was a young chap trying to hold back for 5 minutes was a major effort. As I got older control became easier and easier, eventually being more or less able to 'cum to order'. Very handy indeed!

I have noticed recently however that not only is holding back effortless, but actually cumming is increasingly rare. I can have excellent sex with a lady for an hour or more, by which time she will be sated, and I still won't have ejaculated. I am 60 years old.

Please understand that the sex and relationships are lovely and fulfilling, it just seems that the perceived intensity of physical sensation from my cock is less than it used to be. Male friends of my age group also report a difficulty in becoming excited enough to ejaculate.

The question I have is

1 Anybody else find this?

2 Do you think it's psychological or physical.

PS no ladies seem to see it as a problem.

I'm 49 nearly 50 and find that if I am overstimulated, it can take a while to cum. Especially if I have held back to please a lady.

I recognise that. If I have a good long exciting session, I won't cum. If I then have a rest and chat, a quicky will usually make me cum. Odd.

I have always been a slow cummer, but since being alone for a couple of years I can cum in minutes or over an hour depending on the stimulation.

It's doesn't make you hard either, it simply increases blood supply to the area so it could potentially help. ( You can take viagra and if not feeling aroused nothing will happen)

I have found I can control and postpone ejaculation as I've got older but have no problem in becoming aroused and still enjoy spectacular orgasms.

I have no problem at all with my wife . It's the same as it was when we got together some seven years ago .

But when swinging it's just the same as it is for the op . Don't know why but sometimes think it's because we've done so much in our six years of swinging .

That's pretty much my experience too and I'm 52. I dont see it as a problem. I live staying on that plateau, and who wants 'game over' too soon ?

61 this week, the older you get the

Longer you last, in my experience anyway. Some women find it irritating, they just want to cum and not bothered about their sex partner

I'm 51 and don't always cum. That doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed it, though. Some women treat it as a failure, but I suggest they take advantage of it

I wish I could have lasted this long when I was a teen!

Once she has bee well and truly sated, I can normally steer things towards a result if she really wants to, but it's no biggie if it doesn't happen.
