It's the same when I ran disk clean up in accessories Which box do I untick so I don't have to go go through the forgot passwords palaver? Thank you in adv " OP...IT.. did not chose to delete passwords, you did by not anticking the boxes , open the main ccleaner page, look at internet explorer , last two boxes..same with the other applications

"Heres on for you... Installing a new 500gb wd hdd Sata... Bios not picking it up. New cables, power, runs independent....can hear it spooling up and ticking over..0 noise pollution on it. Inspected the circuits, all fine. The jumpers are set to slave Running windows 10 OS, its not going to show in disk management because its not picked up in bios but have checked just in case it was a bios glitch. Flashed bios to update and still nothing " Sounds like your current hard drives are in a raid format. if it is you need to run a raid setup again before bios will pick up the new drive.

"OP - I synced my phone to my work pc to update all my contacts - then realised my lets say saucy whatsapp pics also hit my work pic. I deleted - but really really need to check they are deleted from bin files... HELP! Our IT guys are an outside firm... " Great to work for that outside firm... Deleting something doesn't mean it is deleted from the computer. It merely means that the place on the computer drive is available to write new data on it. Even simple software can bring up 'deleted' files. Professional ones can recover data several layers underneath... I wouldn't even do what you did with a work computer. You may have to give your boss a BJ to keep him quiet. And to all of your IT guys as well. And btw, call me , if you need a massage. I'm much more discreete than your Whatsup can ever be.

"ok did this post help anyone ? " Many thanks for your attempts to answer all questions! Very impressive. I'll go over the answers another time and see what can be done. The server's 3 hards disks have each a fraction of the individual files and when I tried to recover them with some Wondershare recovery software last year, the files came up with errors. I haven't had the time since, but I'll try something else. Have a nice long weekend!
