Hi, I have written many different bios of myself, and had many different photos, public and private, facentral pics and blurred pics. I've tried editing my profile on every way I can think of, and I don't seem to get many replies.

I'm not sure if this is because I live in a sleepy part of Wales where not much happens, or if my profile is giving off bad vibes?

Any advice welcome!

(I now only have one photo because nothing was working, so I quietened down my profile)

At a rough guess we would say it was you rather than your profile.

Why do we think that because you post a message that has people looking at your profil, but find instead of seeing it you have hidden it.

That tells us you don't really want to meet.

You are better off with no pic rather then the dark one you currently have.

Having tattoos is no excuse really on here, as these can be deleted off of pics( we both have them but you can't see any on our pics)

The being straight won't be a disadvantage as lots of people are searching for straight guys.

I did a brief survey the other day of the first hundred people who came up in a search. I got the following.

Single guys 76

Couples 14

Single women 6

Tv/ts 4

Lets assume half the couples won't meet single men and all the single guys want to meet single women or couples then you have 76 chasing 13 - that's odds of about six to one against single guys.

That's why it sucks being a single guy.

Your profile picture is so dark it may as well not be there, I wouldn't click onto your profile to try and see if there were any better ones, I would just skirt straight past if I was searching.

When I did read your profile it was a relatively good one compared to most x

Our search was within a fifty mile radius. If you are a single guy you have little chance. If you are not prepared to travel you have no chance

You don't have to be naked, if you want to cover your tats put some fully clothed pics up that show off the favourite parts about yourself or your personality, statement items of clothing you may have etc

Tattoos in photos can certainly be edited out. Basic software such as Paint can do a workable job, though not perfect. Phone apps such as Photo Editor Pro can blur them out or air brush over them. Again, not perfectly but they won't be identifiable. At the very least you can use apps to put 'stickers' over the tattoo or crop them out.

Hand or arm placement whilst taking the photo can also help hide them, as can clothing or props.

We have a lot of ink between us but none feature in our pics.

As for the profile - the text reads ok. Possibly a little on the negative side in parts but on the whole it's fine.

Ultimately you are a single guy fish in a whole seaworld of single guy fishes. No photos is certainly a handicap to your game.

Exactly that. If you are a guy and only prepared to meet mf couples or single females you will struggle purely because there are loads of you and few of your targets.

Couples and females who meet single guys can pick and choose and they will pick guys whose profile discloses a hot body and/or an engaging personality. . If your profile discloses neither you have no chance.

It may be my phone screen but the new pic still looks fairly dark. Better though

The editing covers the tattoos but does, at first glance, make you look like you have a serious skin condition

Even as a couple we find it hard getting meets on this site so we mainly use it for chat , we try to arrange any meets at the club we attend . Especially for single guys . So if they don't turn up we can make other plans , if its couples we can only visit them as we can't accom , we mainly look for single straight guys and would only consider visiting there house if they would allow me to come around and check it's a safe and clean place to take wife . I would suggest you visit a club and chat to couples . Speaking to both male and female . We have had males trying to chat wife up for fun alone . Wife normally lets me know who she likes or dislikes and I always have final say to weather or not they play with her . It's better that way as I let them in on her likes and dislikes , I would never let her play alone without getting to know the person

If your ass looks good in a pair of jeans, you flaunt that ass! Generally a woman has decided whether she wants to have sex with you or not way before she sees you naked (on here not so much but usually) so make her want to unwrap you...with her teeth

Something that will be a big plus for you is how you're coming across in this thread in the face of the usual brusque forum replies.

If you can keep participating in other threads in the forum and get your character across then you'll stick in people's minds for the right reasons. Couple that with a good profile shot and you'll be in good stead

I am on the case with that! That's the best i can do for now, as i have work tonight! But i will definitely upload a few more this week! As i have an idea on what to do!

Less is more dude, but in this instance, less skin is more appealing. It took me a long time to get my pics right, and even now they don't appeal to everyone.

Someone told me that a good pic should say or show something about your personality, so that's the method I work to when taking them.

Some show some skin, I'm a sexual being, others are a bit silly, I try not to take life too seriously, one is a moody B&W, I like a bit of suspense, you get my drift.

As a single guy this place can be v hard to navigate and meet people, you get one shot, your profile, so make it reflective of you, not your ego, not that I'm saying yours isn't, but just be a nice person, have fun with Fab, and don't take it too seriously. If you chat with someone, that's awesome, if you meet someone, that's awesome too, but remember you can't be all things to all people, you can only ever be you, so be confident in that and show your personality off.

The fact you started this thread means you care, that alone goes a long way mate.

yes i already said that if you read more of the topic and other replies.

most guys struggle coz there's not enough people want to meet them. plus most women don't chase men.

and just coz a few men manage to fuck half the site doesn't men all men can succeed.

I manage to hide mine. Angles, holding stuff that covers them, wearing stuff that covers them. If all else fails I just blur them with an app. I would suggest elbow length opera gloves or having long hair you can drape down your arm but those suggestions are ones that might only work for me. I've seen some good male torso shots where he's in a tight long-sleeved top and has just pulled it up and that would cover the arm ones. Or a silhouette so people can see your shape but no detail. Clever lighting and experimenting and job's a good 'un.

I found you repeat yourself about travelling a lot in the bio. I completely understand your need for photos that don't show who you are I live in Pembrokeshire myself and everyone knows everyone (I've even been identified from just my profile as it is now -hardly any info) hence I only have private photos as I don't want people knowing I'm on here. Otherwise it's a nice profile. Don't think too much into it. There is a hell of a lot of guys on here. When you message be nice don't be all about the sex (yes I know it's a sex site) but its off putting when you get message after message of men being vulgar. Just be yourself and youll get somewhere Hun xx

Remember you're talking to people with their own agendas, so you have to find a middle ground with the people you want to meet and that takes time.
