I can't decide if I should continue my butterflies down my leg. I'd have them getting smaller the further down they go.

I'm torn. Sometimes I think the piece is enough. Other times I think it should go further.

Thoughts folks?

Opinions?

If you think it needs more go for it, your tattoo could easily extend all the way and some ink is designed to just be followed.

Sometimes a little is enough. Going off tangent a bit. I play the sax and been in a few bands. Very rarely get much personal thanks. One song I was accompanying, where I played 3 notes. Two were the same note. So two Bs and an A. But they did stand out. So many came up to me and said. The sax in that song was awesome. I could not believe it. But sometime a little can be more. Nothing to do with tattoos and again it is your choice and what your comfortable with.

It's a beautiful piece as it is but it could easily look just as great with some more.

Never get a tattoo unless you have wanted it for a consecutive 6 months or more

I have a phobia of butterflies but I have looked at your tattoo (more than once) because it is so lovely. But I think it is enough and if you extended it, it would just be too much of the same thing. So maybe a new one somewhere else? X

I think the piece is enough. I'd love to get one,but the pain is the stumbling block.

Think the piece you have is enough, its sexy without being overtly so. Anything more may be too much.

Get the design for the extention and put it on the fridge, photoshop it onto you if you can, if you get sick of looking at it or stop thinking it looks good..don't get it...if after a few months you like it more...just pick your colours. X

I don't see why not. It's personal choice but a good artist will manage to frame it well on the skin you have there.

Tattoos should be placed carefully to accentuate and move with the muscle tone under the skin, there's plenty of space there that you could realistically work with and it'd look good.

I would! Obviously it has to be your choice cos you're stuck with it but I think that would look fab.

Thank you everyone's input.

Taking time to consider it makes a lot of sense. I'm going to do the picture for my fridge with it airbrushed to extend it and see how I feel in a few weeks or so.

Having looked at my own pics where I'm in an outfit that doesn't reveal the ink I have already, I'm beginning to realise I have the best of two worlds there.

Thank you.

By all means carry on with the opinions; I'm very easily led at times
