How to tell someone likes me?

Hello one and all.

Really nice to finally plonk myself on fabswingers. My profile is currently under construction, and hopefully will be a pleasing and fun profile.

I've been told I'm utterly oblivious to the fact if a person likes me. Which I will confess came as a pleasant shock

So I'm curious to know what type of cues would be suggested for me to keep an eye open for? Please bare in mind, anything involving sound/noise is an impossibility for me to grasp.

I have some sympathy OP, I've been told the same thing in the past - I can be totally oblivious to signals (apparently).

I don't think it's something that can be easily 'learnt' but I'll be watching the thread as an interested onlooker!

Yes as we helped him make a profile when we first took him to a club and then kind of forgot he had one, as at time he barely went online.

Now he goes out more, he is looking to use it.

I have been trying to figure that one as well op and I have been here 4 years.imo from experience unless stated otherwise in a message then they are just looking to chat.

I had one once occasion I was talking to a coupke and everything was going well then I found they had suddenly didapeared.

Some women are show more obvious signs they are attracted to a guy but for me .. i tend to take a back seat and maybe a little bit of eye contact. If I feel the guy is smiling alot and striking up a conversation with me then its difficult to know how you show you are interested. I am more likely to be touchy feely and cheeky with a guy .. if i have had a drink but if not you probably would never know i fancied you. Sorry

We had the same situation with a couple lovely couple over the weekend. Struck up conversation and kept bumping into each other throughout the night. We didn't get the hint until they asked where they might find us in 10 minutes or so

Luckily we didn't miss out lol, though they probably felt they had to hold our hands a bit

Sometimes even if it's wrote in Neon I still miss signs!

I have had to massively apologise to some very nice people in the scene who thought I was being rude, I wasn't I just was utterly oblivious to what they were saying/suggesting. Be direct is the best approach

Agreed. We were actually surprised by how casually couples tell each other they like people at first, but we would much prefer people to actually say they like us if it happens, save anyone missing out on the fun!

Bookmarking this thread, because I'm usually completely clueless, when spotting signs.

Any tips or hints, would be very helpful!

Most of the time, I don't even look for the subtle clues. If someone did express an interest, I'd be gobsmacked.

We guys are simple creatures... if you like us, say so! We'll probably be flattered.

Ah you asked how you would know someone liked you. Not how you would then communicate. If I like the look of someone in a club I always try to get eye contact with someone first.

Op it's hard to gauge people at times I've been on plenty of meets and come away thinking it went well and then nothing comes of it and then other times I've met a lady and thought she s not keen only to find d she got jealous when I met someone else so like I say hard to gauge but most people will engage you if they like you

Thank you for the suggestions, I shall google it. But will avoid some of the things suggested as not practical as a lip reader I'm afraid
