We've been to a few of the Monday nights, its been variable - some weeks are not bad, but nothing like a Frid/Sat from what we hear.

Being a 'spa' I think it helps if the weather is fine too.

Wish they would open the dungeon area though, they say they are waiting for the numbers to pick up

.... of course the more people who go the better it will get

Every time we've been there have been similar numbers - enough to always find some fun but not so much it feels manic (which is usually the case on Fri/Sat nights). Mondays are more relaxed with a spa feel - people can walk about in towels / robes or dress up if they like. You'd look really out of place in a towel at the weekend parties.

The car park is always almost full if that's anything to go by. And don't forget, Abfabs is a big venue with lots of areas to play in so even with a fair number of people it's going to seem quiet. Try the cinema - that's usually a very popular area on the bi nights. Of course it's not ever going to be as busy as couples / singles nights - it's a bi night and not everyone is bi ... plus it's a Monday - not the best night for a club as people have work in the morning.

KnS are right though in that it'll only expand if people give it a go. I hope people do because then they'll open the stables / dungeon which will open a whole new range of possibilities!

No, think Friday & Saturday are still as busy as ever - the dungeon is only closed on Monday nights - reason given is there's not enough people there to bother opening it, which is a shame.

I think the main reason they don't open the dungeon on a bi night is not so much that they don't think it's worth it or can't be bothered but to keep the 40+ people there in a limited area rather than small pockets dotted around the place. It's an expansive venue and even reasonable numbers of people would seem sparse if spread all over the place.

Hopefully word will spread that Mondays are relaxed, chilled and fun for those who enjoy bi fun - then numbers will increase and the dungeon area can be opened

I have often arrived and the car park is full but when you enter there is hardly anyone in there - maybe the reason for this is that there is usually one person per car especially during the daytime! Good meeting place lol

But I digress from the bi-night .... sorry

As we're going to Kestrals and Abfabs on Saturday, we can't really go tonight as it would become a very expensive hobby with all the fuel costs and entrance charges.

Have a great time though - we'll probably be going in the next month or so

From memory, you take ID (photo ID is a good idea) and they give you a membership card on the night.
