Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Advice welcome from couples where only one plays.

So my wife and I where quite active on the scene up until a couple of years back. We had to take a break due to various reasons but now we want to return. However....my wife isn't 100% ready to swing herself yet. At least in a conventional sense. She just wants to explore her cuckquean side more (the thing that got us into swinging years ago) and then see how she feels from there since both of us having a free night together is a bi weekly thing at best. I get why some people might think it's a bit odd but people have all sorts of kinks on here and she's happy to do socials wherever possible to put peoples mind at rest.

Our account has been back for a few months and nothing has happened. Most of our old friends are no longer active on the site (which is fair enough), many profiles wont meet solo married males (again, which is fair enough) and I know there are more single male accounts than you can shake a stick at, but aside from the odd chat with people on here I don't seem to be getting any interest. Most cases me message is just deleted and that's that.

Have I inadvertently put something in our profile that I shouldn't have or is it just a case of be patient? I don't really want to do a singles account as it is a "couples thing" and it will be turned back into a proper couples account later this year.

Any advice welcome.

It isn't really a couples thing if your wife is not playing so you should have a single profile as this could be confusing fir a lot of people and some may even see it as dishonest and report as such.

That's fair enough it just doesn't feel right to me. The last time I ran one (years ago) I got more than my share of "sod off, you're married" comments...which is the point.

I guess I'll have to make one and see what happens.

OP my husband occasionally meets a couple for an MFM if I am out of the country - its HARD work finding couples, because when he does that (from his single guy profile) he is 1 in god knows how many gazillions. I would actually suggest you keep the couples profile. We don't meet "single guys" that lie about their real status (e.g. married/attached) but would meet someone like yourself, where the partner is aware and on board.

So in that respect, looking for a meet on your own from a couples profile would actually be a bonus for some couples and possibly single women as well that aren't interested in cheaters. Make sense?

Thanks. That's exactly the mentality I had about it. I just prefer being honest about the situation and it's more than probable my wife might want to join in with the right people. Just depends on her mood if she joins in for the social.

Set up a single man's profile but put your couples name in the profile text so people can see that you are part of a couple and have permission to play.

there are hundreds of profiles like this where the (imaginary) wife is having a break from swinging, not saying this is the case with you but it reads just like all the others, sorry, but you did ask!

I always assume that it's a couple that's split and the guy has kept the profile going on his own. I'd rather meet someone from a single guys profile as it feels dishonest to me.

So I guess that could be the issue then. If people "assume" I'm being dishonest not much else I can do. Like I said...my wife's happy to do the social meet part but that's it for now. Not much else I can do beyond that.

id keep your couples profile and cross reference with a single one if you need to - running 2 profiles is a faff in my mind but lots do this and more - you cant do right for wrong here - at least you keep your veris that way

OP I can understand why others might be cynical as there are no end of "couples" profiles that are really just a bloke, often attached, using it in a similar way to what you are. So it's easy to see why people might be put off by a profile like yours.

I'm part of a couples profile, and have this solo one with the full knowledge of my partner, who also has a profile here. Each of our profiles cross-references the couples profile (and in my case my partners) so there's no room for doubt and everything is completely transparent. I also make it clear on my profile thst my partner can be contacted to verify her knowledge of my profile. It appears to have worked for us, so maybe consider a similar set up?

Once you resolve that problem, you're then just in the pool with the rest of the single male profiles and things like making sure you have a good profile and pics etc.

You need a single profile, you are not playing as a couple so you should not have a couple profile x

I don't play with an attached person who's other half isn't involved. It's not worth the hassle. I get the honesty and applaude it but i wouldn't go there.
