I put some effort into making a decent profile, but it can be challenging to see from the perspective of a lady or couple.

well tbh i found the FAQ a bit laborious but i am not what your looking for so what do i know ,i think i am getting impatient with long profiles now and i know mines crap ,another reason to ignore this post

LOL, yeah I know now. Trouble is that I cannot re-edit posts and especially not thread titles.

Normally I spell correctly, but my mozilla firefox spell-check add-on doesn't seem to monitor for input html tags, only textarea tags such as the ones we our messages in.

Firstly, "discrete" means individual or separate. I suspect you meant "discreet", which means careful about privacy.

The FAQ is different and more interesting than a block of text, but I think a lot of what you've included in it is unnecessary.

Q1: Nobody is going to say they are not genuine, so this is redundant.

Q2: As already mentioned, I don't see the connection between being discreet and sharing the cost of a hotel. I'd just add, "can accommodate but also willing to share the cost of a hotel", to your main profile text.

Q3: Fair enough, though "3sum" rather than "threesome" makes me cringe.

Q4: You've already said you're straight. If they ignored that, they'll probably ignore this too.

Q5: You've already said you always practice safe sex.

Q6: This Q&A seems a bit pointless.

Q7: I'd take this out and just add "always shaven" to an appropriate bit of the profile text.

Q8: This made me laugh!

Q9: Fair enough.

The interests section is good. The photos are good.

Above average, overall and I can't see any reason it shouldn't be successful.

Made some changes based on your advice:

Agree with Q1, Q2, Q3.

Q4, Q5 are there in the way of 'reinforcement'. Some don't read a profile paragraph properly, or need extra reassurance before committing to an email conversation.

Not sure about Q6. Leaving it for now to mull it over, I have it there because of 'shybies'. Some people are embarrassed about a particular fetish, sexual preferences can be very personal, sensitive things, so I'm just trying to sound extra friendly to them to bring them out of their shells, blinking into the sunlight of swinging :D

Agree with Q7.

May I firstly suggest you lose the communist overtone salutation. many fab forumnites here are either children of the cold war era, or else still conceived within living memory of the menace of the hammer and sickle. Apart from the obvious tell tale signs that really don't endere you to intelligent articulate folk, such as the text speak, and the profile compiled as if you're writing content in an html editor, you're doing pretty well for a youngster, be individual and creative, if it works for you then it probably works for everyone else, remember individualism is attractive within itself - don't labour the approval shit, it soon makes you look as if you are hankering to the desires of others - not a nice look at all
