Really think "fab" should look into a mobile app to work in conjunction with the website, seems to be quite a few in tue app store for gay men, so why not for adult swingers, any thoughts people, good or bad idea ?

Good idea. My gay best friend has got the Gaydar app and it's great! He keeps making me envious by showing me all the fit local gay guys. Sob. Ms

when i was a member of another site they had an app for iphone and android.

but i removed it because i kept getting invites from cam girls advertising their services.

these things can be open to abuse so what may seem a good idea at first needs to be carefully thought out.

because grindr was originally meant by the "designers" to be a social networking app... but gay guys themselves started using it for "different things"...

Apple don't tend to allow "adult" apps.... hence why it took so long for playboy to get an app out there... and they had to make a ton of concessions to do it.....

How about a slightly more mobile friendly version of the site rather then a specific app, then those of us with none smartphones but web capable find it easier?

Alternatively, you could just take some responsibility and lock your phone when at their house.

My phone's locked with an 8-digit pincode that kicks in after 5 minutes idleness. It's common sense to lock a smartphone - if you got mugged for it would you want the thief accessing all your personal data? I never cease to be amazed at how slack people are with their security when it comes to gadgets.

A fab app would never get approval in apple store anyway, and would encourage more people to join the site just to get their jollies. Would also leave the site open as it would be easier for kids to join and use. Less parents monitor their kids phones than they do their pc's. (as do wives/hubbies judging by the number of peeps using the site 100% off their phone)

Admin have already started making the site more phone friendly (iPhone photo uploads) and have stated on similar threads that they will attempt to make the site more accessible via smartphones.

Perhaps I'm missing something then. Earlier you said you left your phone lying around at your parents' house, now you're saying it's never idle for 5 minutes! Can't be both...

And as for an app, I personally probably wouldn't bother with it as I can already access Fab on my phone's browser if I need to. And no, it probably wouldn't get past the puritans at Apple HQ.

I think it's a brilliant idea myself. We should Definately have a fabswingers app. The only thing I disagree with is the timewasters can't we do anything to stop and block them? x

Could be interesting. At least for android there are other market places for apps than the official so you can get anything... hell, there's even a specific adult app marketplace out there. That could be a good starting place for Fab users lol

It would be much better because using chat on an iPhone it works but you can't scroll for chat, and you can't view cams either, also can't scroll to see what users are in room.
