Buddies Blackpool

Hi there were booked in tomorrow night and i've read on here that the hotel is closed, tried phoning but "unable to connect your call" is all that comes on.

Anyone heard anything?

Does say on their website that they are having some maintenance done as from the 17th June

yes we had booked for friday night and got a call thursday saying that due to unforseen circumstances they had to close the hotel...gutted was looking forward to it as we havnt been for 12 months

We haven't been there but would definitely reccomend Infusions if you still want to go to Blackpool. Z

Infusions is ok

I heard a lot about Buddies that its not very clean... but can not confirm as we have not been...

hey that rhymes lol

no honestly - sticky carpets and people booked a room with them - went to a different club the second night and found their room locked when they returned! Heard lots of nasty things about buddies! not our cup of tea

wonder if he still rents the little carpark next to infusions and clamps cars who goes into infusion aye wat a w/end that was for a group of us, love infusions so chilled out

I thought that belonged to the Local Authority, or perhaps I have the wrong car park!

Only been to buddies - 3 visits and loved them all

I was just working out when we could sneak a weekend away in!

It's quite far for us and I suppose there are places closer but it's something we don't get the chance to do very often so we'll stick to what we like!

If it's not shut down... eeek!

went there once....shower screen was smashed, green mould everywhere...bed was broken...carpet was that bad you stuck to it as you walked across it...

never again!!!

We went to Buddies and I loved it. Go without any expectations, it isn't posh or plush and you could be easily offended by the owner but you have to join in with the spirit of it all.

At breakfast I was at first shocked when someone asked for another cup of tea and the owner told them 'no you fucking can't, fuck off out of here'. But I did laugh cos I've never been in a hotel, even a budget one, where the staff verbally abuse the guests. But its all done in jest and its really quite amusing.

The owner told me to 'get my fucking tits off his table' to which I answered, 'where do you want me to put them then, throw them over my shoulder', oh a fucking joker here he said but we got on well all weekend. It was different and therefore fun.

We didn't find a lot of play going on in the 3 public rooms they have but me and the OH christened them so it was good fun.

The only thing that did get to us a little is that people were allowed to smoke and they went overboard so it was like being in a blue haze, my eyes and throat were sore and we're not overly bothered about smoking, just that we don't. All in all it was a great weekend

This is the truest review i've read about Buddies and couldn't agree with you more.
