Does anyone have any tips for a fairly new member, for helping spot men masquerading as couples?

The problem with these threads, giving really useful advice, is that they are also a really good 'what not to do' guide for the fakes!

Personally, I would say veris from verified people is a good method that is hard to fake. You will miss out on real lots of people who don't have that or don't show them, but it is a fairly safe start.

If a couple has been on for more than 3 months and had no verifications (actual meet ones) ... same applies to female's... then assume they are fake.

Even the ones with just one veri, they can have multiple accounts and verify themselves.... it's common on this site unfortunately.

Asking to speak to a female or asking for a photo with them both on with today's date on it usually works for us.we tend to find female half of couples don't usually have an issue with a quick phone call if genuine.

If the talk quickly turns to 'tell us what you'd like to do to her' it's probably just a man. No verifications is another clue. Claims that she can't speak to you because she's at work, in the shower, gone shopping, putting the kids to bed usually mean she doesn't actually exist. However they could all be quite genuine, it's best to go with your intuition and if it feels wrong move on

We go by verifications. As the female of a couple, I would not talk to anyone on the phone. Too intrusive

Tin eye or google reverse image search , and you can get give aways like male has persimmon to play alone or lots of cock shots with one rather doggy blurred possible female picture

We wouldn't meet anyone without a Skype/FaceTime with all four of us there...I wouldn't like to chat on the phone 1st, it is just awkward, FaceTime your all there and it is more relaxed. No video chat, no fun :o)

We personally wouldn't entertain anyone who asks for video proof or a phone call we're real we shouldn't need to prove it.

I usually find the give aways on the fake profiles are the ones who come on look amazing and too good to be true and almost immediately ask for a face photo or in a few cases use the no photos on fab but I can email you some if you email me some.

Agree, we both also hate talking on the phone but would totally understand if people passed us by because of it.

When I have a couple message me I ask for a quick Skype or cam meet and if they can't a private message with today's date (no faces required).

You either get one or you get blocked or messages with excuses. Either way, you know pretty quick and they are added to the block list. I always do this before I invest time in swapping too many messages.. Problem solved.

We wouldn't give our number out to a stranger and really wouldn't waste time to writing down dates and taking photos up loading them to wait for them to be approved to then send that would just kill the fun. But then we use clubs and are verified by club owners and plenty of social and play verifications so it wouldn't be a issue. If people still thought we were fake then that's them with the issue.

We're the same. We're verified so we wouldn't bother doing all that nonsense! A Skype call will do for us.

So true we as a couple don't even FaceTime or Skype each other so we're surly not going to do it with complete stranger. Anyone who as been on here a few months should be able to spot fake accounts all this Skype phone call or pics with dates or names on takes away the fun of swinging. But then we use clubs and go most weekends so if we never got a meet of here it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
