Genuine or not??

Hi after some advice, been chatting to a couple from the chat rooms, no photos on profile, profile verified through webcam, would only send photos via email, added us on skype and keeping on and on for hubby to video call her (all messages are signed from her, him not there) she wants to see hubby on cam but won't show herself or speak as too shy, laptop cam broken and phone camera not working, asked to verify on mobile call but saying shes too shy, finally done it and swear to god it was a voice recording saying "helloooo" twice then hung up, deleted them now but am i being too harsh, anyone else had this...thanks

I would have let it fizzle out when they wanted to send pics via email, it wouldn't have got as far as Skype.

Thousands of other couples on here, ignore the weird and those that are hard work.

Been through something very very similar myself recently, and yes they will try and make out it's you in the wrong or need to 'prove yourself'

Just block and move on

You have your conditions for contact and taking thing further -you've obviously thought about them, so stick to your guns and follow your instincts.

Deliver the other party the ultimatum your conditions or you will move on.

They if genuine they will move to meet your requirements, or if they are bogus disappear/delete profile pronto.

There are plenty of salmon and trout on here, you don't need catfish.

definitely, we've had a few where the female is always not available or doesn't use messenger, it's harsh but you came on here to fill your needs and fantasies, be selfish, if it's not what you expected, move on, loads more genuine couples

Part of the reason scamming and catfishing works is because lots of people don't want to be harsh. It's ok to be harsh in the context of fab, if it doesn't feel right just cut contact.
