Howdy everyone

Have been on site for a while. Met some amazing people in my time here. But lately it has been harder to connect with people.

There are a lot of people I would love to chat to but sadly they have the age profile that they are looking for set too high. 30 or above. As a 29 year old it is quite frustrating. I realise some younger lads can be a pain and it's most likely a defense against them, but we're not all that bad.

Any other folks finding this issue lately or is it just me?

if you're looking for women then you will find most of us try to get as less messages as possible. shrinking the age ranges really tight does help, unfortunately.

Sadly you are right, I know it makes things easier for women. It can just be very frustrating when reading a profile, really liking what you're seeing and reading only to look at the age range and be denied.

if you're using search there is a box that says 'only show those looking for me' or something like that and these ladies shouldn't show up for you after choosing that.

idk how else to get rid of them from just browsing or whatever.

I have my age set at 30, not because I think men under 30 are pains, iv3 spoken to some lovely guys under 30, but because I just feel I'm to old to meet guys in their 20s so I don't meet them regardless of how much I have liked talking to them

It's not always done for negative reasons

That is very true too. I suppose I don't think anyone should ever feel too old or too young to approach a different age range.

Tbh I've found that if they want you they will find you ,a few have contacted me that I've never seen because I was over their age barrier ...swings and roundabouts ..what will be will be ..

Why? You have your age range set at 55 so your obviously feel to young for that age range

I have an age preference stated on my profile, however I do not have my filters set to them as like you said someone just outside them may be of interest (though not too far out of them)

However, I really work on the premise that people interest me with their profile and pictures first and foremost, otherwise any messages are easily ignored.

I also need to make sure that we would have interests in common as conversation is highly important as I don't do fuck and go meets

Your age settings exclude us. People over 55 aren't all pipes and carpet slippers you know
