So, we've wasted 2 nights this week on men who didn't bother turning up. First night we went to his hotel, as invited, chatting via Fab the entire way in the taxi. Got to the lobby and he stopped responding.

Second night, chatting to a guy locally who promised not to mess us about, said he'd let us know if anything came up that would stop him coming but, yet again, a no show. This time was at our house so at least we didn't waste money on taxis.

So I think we'll stick to clubs for now as clearly it's a waste of time arranging anything on here. Yet all the single men moan about how hard it is to get meets!

1 in 7 will show up. We always make a night of it when arranging to meet a guy. We will always only do it when we are having a night out . So if he doesn't show it makes no difference.

lol I'm out (beards) your way tonight . Me and my mate will probably have a few people say they will join us for drinks but we presume none will show. Lol

When meeting at a hotel they say they are staying in,we ask for the hotel name,obviously,then their room number,and arrange to phone them in their room before we set off.cuts down on was to g our time,a little.

this has happened to twice recently on both times women arranged to turn up but both no shows i all ways arrange for a met in a public place first normally my hotel bar to make sure the lady in question feels confutable

Ydea, as a couple of other said, we always find couple are worse for no-shows than anyone else. Just use common sense, the sign are often there.

We've had 1 in 7 cancel and no, no shows. Part luck maybe but part due dilligence as well maybe?

Maybe in part to not meeting many singles as well.

We've not had problem with single guys showing up but we have had no shows from couples. If we arrange a meet it's normally at a house now and we exchange numbers.

join the club, but it is not just Guys that let couples down, Couples do it as well..We have lost count now how many Genuine people have not shown or stopped messaging and hiding their profiles last minute.

We only meet on neutral ground now, and only if they have verifications by meeting others. It wont stop it, but it improves our chances

The hotel guy had a verification from a hotel meet. The other guy gave us his number. He asked to call us to check a female was there, we agreed but he didn't call so the no show wasn't a surprise.

There are honourable exceptions, but the majority of single guys don't show. You need to invite at least 5 to get one.

Or, well, in my case, you need to invite 100 to get 10!!

Switch to TVs - there's a 99% chance they'll show up, and they're much more fun than most single guys.

From a year of using Craig's list we had confirmed arrangements to meet 10 men, 2 of which backed out. Then 2 years of using Fab we have had confirmed arrangements to meet 9 men, again of which 2 backed out. We have never had a no show. Our arrangements are all made weeks in advance. Not the reason we make our arrangements like that, but we're a bit anal when it comes to our diaries, which i suspect puts off the fantasists somewhat.

We have been let down for the first time tonight and it really bloody sucks.

They just stopped responding to our messages, although luckily we didn't get ready as we didn't think they would meet so we are now snuggled up watching a movie. It's not all bad

I have seen so many posts and threads on this site on the subject. This only happened to me once when I agreed to met a guy in a club. He kept on messaging me till the morning and then suddenly he caught a flash flu

I now do not set up meetings with anyone. I put up an event on my profile and those who are free to meet that evening can turn up if they wish

My ex-partner quoted me the only 1 in 6 ratio when we arranged our first threesome together. I invited 6 guys I had chatted with ......... and 5 of them turned up!!

Not entirely sure he didn't set me up but who cares, I had a great night!

In your case maybe but "the majority of guys" is a huge generalisation. In five years of private one to ones I have had two no shows!

It is not fair to tar all single men based on the behaviour of some. Nor any other gender come to that

We have been let down numerous times, but we never let it spoil our evening.

We always meet for a no strings social evening in a public environment where no play will take place whatsoever. The Wife always dresses provocatively and if the man does not show up, then so be it. We still have a lovely evening in a lovely hotel bar.

Fully agree 100%.

We prefer to arrange and meet at a club so if they want to do a no show, it's now irrelevant.

We find everyone; couples, females and guys fall off the radar.

Too many time wasters and fakes, experience has taught us to stick to clubs.

You would think it would be easy to arrange a guy for an MMF or solo with the Mrs but they're not immune from the hopeless bug.

Had it happen to me a couple of weeks ago from a couple i had met before in a hotel.They rang at midnight and invited me to thiers,didnt know thier address but told me to phone when i got to the area.Hour and half drive rang no answer tried for a while and drove home,cant believe they text last night to meet my answer was two words and the second one was off.So not only single guys who fuck people about.
