Well we've been on here less than two weeks, and we think we have just met our first fake of the site. After half dozen messages back and forth (flithy-mind) got told 'Oh I'm up for the 18th here's my number'. Contacted him tonight, and low and behold, we got the following back

'I've decided I'm not into swinging as much as I used to be, good luck'

then he deletes his account.

What we want to know is, is this a common occurance, or have we be led by a fake? What are your thoughts.

Believe it or not, swinging for some people is a hobby and not a way of life. With the best will in the world you may think nsa sex with strangers is what you need, but you may have got a redundancy notice, a loved on is ill, more responsibility of work...or plain just changed their mind!

You were told, you didn't show up for a meet for the other person to be a no show!

Accept people may change their mind. If you're peeved after only two weeks, is this really for you!

Then left the site..

Granted he could have proactively contacted you.

lots of peoples lifes move on and lots of people take a break from swinging from time to time

To be honest if i was just pissing someone about i wouldnt give them my phone number so maybe he was genuine and just decided he'd had enough

Happens all the time. We've had it twice.

First couple sounded really interested, etc. next week - gone.

Another couple of "swing buddies" vanished after a month of constant messages and winks etc.

Mostly single blokes posing as couples - when it gets close to a meet, they're gone!

Its common and who knows why? Maybe different in each case. They are often on and off the site constantly. Just ignore and move on. Dont take it personally, Im sure its not.

2 weeks!

Who knows, did it occur it might be true,or u put him off,(we dont meet anyone who exchanges filthy messages) or his cat died,the fact is swinging is not a speed thing.To complain after 2 weeks,without any real knowledge of the person,well u might be in for a lot of disappointment.

btw is it thursday?

Oh noticed a trend in the replies, assuming we have only been swinging for two weeks, well we have used othere sites. We have moved on, we just want to know if this is a regular thing or rare.

It's happened to us a couple of times and at least he had the courtesy to tell you thathe was moving on as most just vanish without trace. People come and go so chalk it up to experience and move onto the next one. Good luck.
