Just saw someone I know, who is a friend of a friend. Not sure whether to tell them we know them or maybe chat a bit more to see if meet would be possible, what you think?

Know what you mean but their face pics are not hidden.

Doesn't mean they want someone from their real life contacting them.

There really is only one way to find out. It's a decision you will have to make

Sorry for being no help at all! x

If someone told me they recognised me and we had a mutual friend I'd be horrified

I would. If they are in here without their faces hidden they can't be too bothered. Maybe they want someone to recognise them.

Depends how into them you are? Tbh I'd be very wary as if there open enough to post there face pics they may be open to others about there lifestyle IE people u may also know.

Tread carefully as it's not always best to shit on your doorstep

Myself personally would block them and move on. I'd be horrified (and frankly shit myself!) if somebody recognised me on here from real life.

We don't advertise as such to every 1 we are swingers yet we get messages off random people saying they know us. We politely say they have got it wrong but we don't meet locals and thanks any ways for the interest. But people don't take subtle hints. We had 1 young lad saying he helped fit a bedroom window in our house a couple of years ago and knew where 1 of our sons work. Wether they are correct or not. They should take the subtle hint lol lol

If youre going to say you know them make it very clear who you are right away.

Because the whole "i know you" thing when they dont know who you are is super creepy and uncomfortable.

If we recognise anyone we block them.

Several times people have messaged with vague references to knowing us from somewhere we block them too its just a ploy to get a response.

I always think if we're not interested in meeting them or they wouldn't be interested in meeting us discretion is the best option.

sorry just got to say

this is real life .. we only have one ..

if people want to be secretive that's their choice

but we are not living some quantum leap ..

if you are on here its who you are it is real unless you dobt meet then it's a fantasy x

We would avoid them, personally. For us swinging and 'real life' are two different worlds. Meeting someone who is linked to everyday life wouldn't be right for us.

But, it depends how you feel about that. Also consider how the person you have spotted might feel about it.

I try and keep my worlds seperate. Say something happen while swinging that colours your view of them.....how do you explain the fact you're a bit stand-offish, to your mutual friend?

I once had a friend off here bump into me in a work context. Her friend who was with her was very keen to know why this apparent stranger and her were like best mates!

^ this, the only caveat being that if you know them well enough to know their sexual preferences then maybe contact them

Personally in these sort of situations I feel discretion is the better part of valour.

many years ago i had spent a few weeks chatting online with a couple, we had arranged to meet at a club at the weekend, i arrived at the club first and decided to jump in the hot tub after about 10 minutes the male half of the couple stuck his head round the door and introduced himself, shortly after that both him and his wife joined me in the hot tub, the second i saw her i thought she looked familiar then after chatting for a bit it turned out she was the lollipop lady at my daughters school (she was only 40 before any one asks lol) it did gove us all a giggle when we relieased didnt stop us playing thou lol
