Hey, just curious, do people not read messages? I've just checked my outbox and about 90% are unread.

How does this site work? :o.

i don't read most of mine. in fairness i do state on my profile i don't reply to most who message me.

Some do , some don't. You'd be best to delete your sent messages and not worry about it

Single girls get inundated with mail. So many single guys on here. Just make sure you have read people's profiles and you tick their requirements

a lot of it is down to the fact that couples and especially single female receive so much mail that your message could be on a third page before they get online, plus if your heading or message just doesn't appeal it may just remain unread.

We only reply to msg when we are physically together, so it could be 4 or 5 days until we reply.

Delete your sent message folder, you'll feel a lot less stress about it.

The majority of those you message will view your profile before even considering opening your message.

If they don't like what they see, for whatever reason, they're less likely to be interested in anything you may have put in your message.

Consider this. Let's say, for arguments sake, that you don't like Pizza. Would you even bother to look at a Pizza menu that's been dropped through your door?

No. You'd just bin it without a second thought.

What you need to think about is whether you feel that your profile is as good as it can possibly say. What does it say about you and what you have to offer?
