I think I might be Bi..

Hi everyone,

Would really appreciate a bit of advice - I'm a recently divorced male (54yrs), grown up kids, etc...

Since I have been "perusing" the site it's becoming clearer and clearer that I find the whole bi scene turns me on. OK, I'm total newbie to this and rather nervous (at first I thought I was turning out gay - no offence to gays here, or anywhere!)

I'm genuinely keen (but rather apprehensive) to explore this furtherand would appreciate any advice or guidance. Thank you for your time.

The beauty of sites like this is it enables us to explore and have fun with like minded people.

Take your time: don't rush into anything or it could end horribly. Once you feel ready perhaps change your profile to bi-curious as some couples block messages from straight men seeking a bi experience.

There's someone for everyone here, and when you're ready there'll be someone to introduce you to your bi side.

Good luck!

i went thru this when i split with my wife

i know it's easier said than done but you really have to let the barriers down, fuck convention and what we are led to believe is right and wrong and go for it !

you'd be surprised just how cool people are with it. hindsight tells me that my biggest problem was myself in fighting the curiosity.

have fun discovering yourself but as the good lady says above, take your time - it's not a race, it's a journey !

First of all, decide what it is yo actually like. Bi can cover a multitude of things, from everything a gay man would do to some interesting little sub sets that can only be bi - the man who'll want to wank you off as you look at pics of his wife (though they may well be pics of someone else's wife he's pinched off the web) or the TV/TS who'll only get aroused if you suspend disbelief and go along with the whole feminine role they're playing, or the guys who insist you believe they're not gay as they go down faster than the Titanic....

If you don't want a nasty shock or two along the way working out what you want and advertising for it is way better than saying you're up for exploring and discovering you're not as bi as you thought halfway through your first experience of rough anal sex....

It's like being left-handed: everybody is to some extent.

You might consider the CD/TV scene as a primer. You'd have a female form to make you feel more comfortable. Be sure to find one who does bi though because some of us just want to be all-gurl, not the best of both worlds.

It is fantastic explore your sexuality try it if you like it you know. If you dont then you know its not for you. If you are uncomfortable meeting one on one most clubs offer a bi night. And maybe worth checking out. And good luck and just go at your own pace.

This is great advice. The only thing I'd like to add is that you should forget the labels, or at least not get too hung up on them. Try what interests you but go slowly at first, and be honest so people know what to expect.

I suspect you might be surprise at the positive response you'll get. Good luck!
