Overcoming Nerves

Hey guys, I'm very wet round the ears when it comes to meeting, and nerves get the best of me (product if a bad marriage now divorced!) so how do you guys cope with overcoming nerves when entering a potential strangers house? It's driving me nuts !

Also the same is with the clubs , Clubf is on my doorstep but I just cannot, CANNOT pluck up the courage to go, or message them.

I sound a right wimp but I'm quite a manly man really lol

The simplest answer is that at some point, if you want to indulge in the delights on offer, you're just gonna have to take the plunge.

Try and remember, that at some point, pretty much every one of us here got nervous at the first time.

I've been lucky enough to have my first handful of club experiences as half of a couple, but was still nervous showing up at Eurekas on my own for the first time last month. Is there a social run near you you could go along to, meet a few folks who are on the scene near to you in a slightly less scary environment?

depends on if the nerves are from entering a stranger's house (don't if you're not comfortable with it!) or the meet itself.

Nervous and excited are two very different names for the same physiological response. Just tell yourself you're excited (try very very hard at times!) and go for it.

most clubs are very welcoming, speak to the hosts before going and quite often they will introduce you socially to a few people.

Best advice I can give you is meet someone in a neutral place first if you are too worried about meeting at their place. Remember that no matter how annoyed the other person may feel, if you're not happy and comfortable with having sex you're not being forced. Even if you agreed over a message you should never feel forced.

As for the club, well I'm exactly the same. The biggest thing for me is I don't know what to expect in there. I've no one to ask either. All I can suggest is go for a few minutes and see how you get on. You don't have to stay and at least you will have all the answers you need.

Your nearest club is Club F, which is a very friendly club indeed. It has a lounge area for you to chat to people in. You don't have to shag anyone if you don't want to.

i still get nervous and ive been meeting the same guy i met on here 2 years and 10 months ago (previous profile)

Nerves are exciting walking into his home im a wreck inside and calm exterior

chat in regional rooms and go to a club on a night that others from here are going to be there

Nerves are always going to be a factor in this game surely?

Just take the plunge and embrace the excitement instead of fearing it . Whenever I get nervous I ask myself " really what's the worst that can happen?" Apply logic

Check your local updates for the couples and ladies who go to clubf I'm sure they'd meet up for a social before escorting you to the club ? Then it's up to you ??
