ok so im a little pissed off about how some people behave in saunas. now we all know that 95% of the customers are there for the same reason but does that give them right to touch whoever they want whenever they want? good sauna etiquette is something i find very important and recently i've noticed a huge lack of it in most places. so my question is, has anyone had this happen to them? if so, how did it make you feel and how did you respond?

Brighton - even Hove!

I've never been to a private sauna like you describe but I did go to a local naturist spa once and my lady friend and I were followed about by a creepy guy until I doubled back and told him straight to back off. He scuttled away and we didn't see the creeper again.

Assertive but polite generally works.

I've been to a couple of saunas and whilst I don't grope or grab people I'm a bit unsure of what to do to generate attention so any advice will be gratefully received

You can make eye contact, smile and talk then ask.

Aren't most saunas for gay men? Please correct me if I'm wrong but I've never seen one that's frequented by couples and single fems. Seeing as you are straight OP is the attention you are getting from men? It maybe that is usual behaviour for them and you are simply going to the wrong places (not that this in any way excuses their groping ways)

Don't come to the one in my area! My male buddy goes and the guys are all creepy pervs with most of them qualifying for a free bus pass. He has only met one decent guy there

I'm assuming, , we're discussing gay saunas when I answer;

Yes I've had unwanted hands from guys who won't take no for an answer.

I've had to raise my voice a couple of times to demand they respect me and keep their hands off. I've said no.

That's always been enough but I also find, as a 'girl', that the other guys tend to jump to my defence too.
