I'm a Tv but go to the gym as a guy. I want to get my ears and belly pierced any one any experience in this. How painful ? Are ears n belly? Pierce above or below the navel. Can I take them out to go to the gym. Anything else?

doesn't hurt at all...my belly one grew itself out after 2 years for no apparent reason, but, no as far as i know ,you cant just put it in and out...earrings,you obviously can once they've healed..

not a bad idea to take a couple of paracetemol an hour before if you are worried about any discomfort. If the piercer is good, its so quick you really won't have time to register much actual pain, just a throbbing sensation aferwards...which im sure you've had before one way or another! you might get a heady rush of adrenalin too which is pretty nice!

Leave them in. Why does it matter if you have piercings?

Belly button doesn't hurt at all, the clamp does but the piercing itself is nothing. You can wear small, not dangly, jewellery in it for the gym so it doesn't catch on anything and rip out. You're supposed to keep it in for 4 months and not even change the jewellery (but I did within 3 weeks). It's to prevent infection.

Ears hurt a bit as they use a gun that punches your ear while piercing, and sleeping on your side will likely hurt for a couple of nights. You need to keep that in for 6 weeks.

"Checked that out apparently you can change them out after it has healed"

I've had some of my piercings for almost ten years now, and I can only just take a couple of them out for an hour without them starting to close.

Your body will not react the same as everyone elses.
