"there's not a lot you can do from what i remember. it is just lack of room for your stomach that tends to cause this. eating smaller meals will help but i'm guessing you can only eat small meals at this stage anyway, i know i only could." Yeah i get far too full to eat a full meal at the min! Did you get it in the last stage of baby growing?

" i did. i think most people probably do because there just isn't much room for everything inside of you when the baby is putting on most of it's weight in the last 4 weeks. it should go after the baby is born but that's not much help to you now really.

"Im 36 weeks pregnant and baby seems to very much enjoy squashing everything in his way, making me feel like a fire breathing dragon! Any tips how to ease it? Im having Gaviscon but not too sure what else i can try? " I feel for you, I also suffered terribly in pregnancy. Keep drinking the nasty Gaviscon it will be worth it with the end result. Cx

Non of the teas, yogurt etc touched the discomfort for me. I used to carry the big bottle for handy swigging in my handbag and it sounded like a bottle of gin. I dutifully removed it for an emergency hospital over night stay before the eldest was born (hospitals only Letting you have what they have prescribed). I felt grim and asked for some gaviscon.. I had to waiting hour to get it prescribed , then further delays...then I was handed 5ml. A large swig was not offered..I looked at it like a single him n tonic The Gaviscon promotly found a place in hospital bag. Good luck and hugs on journey.. just rest up whenever you can. What, no mention of bump getting in way for comfortable sleep??

Nothing did. But they may help you, if you don't have another medical condition that gives you constant heartburn. Speak to your midwife if in doubt. But my GP told me that ranitidine was perfectly safe to take during my pregnancy .
