Thought I'd bring it up again ( pun intended)

Guys, do you struggle to enjoy sex with a condom on?

This may be because you're bigger than you realise. If the condom feels tight or won't roll to the base of you then it's too small.

Once a condom is on and you enter someone you should really feel it's there.

Condoms come in a range of sizes and vary in size by manufacturer. 'Large' for instance, as made by skyns, seems to fit many of my lovers. That doesn't mean they're massively hung it just means the standard size ones are actually quite small.

I hope this helps even just one guy out there.

We have gone back to using condoms together.

Mrsdpt tried the implant and the pill...both caused chaos with her body so we decided to go back to condoms.

Doesn't make a great deal of difference

That's great. This thread isn't intended to be for us to proudly announce our commitment to safe sex though.

I've had an awful lot of pm's from guys thanking me for posting this.

I'm telling you that because I want guys to realise they are not alone struggling to keep hard or to cum with a condom on.

This isn't the only solution.

I'm just aware from my, ahem, research that some guys use standard size condoms and struggle where they really need a bigger one and would enjoy the experience much more.

Skyns fan here due to latex allergy, Mr does find them a little tight but we had a few to get through, I think I'll buy some large ones today to see if he finds them better. Thanks Rachael!

Getting the right size definately helps, I wish there was better standardisation between brands. I must admit I had never thought of having other sizes for guests but it is a really good idea. How long does it take to get your eye in for guestimating sizes?

Yes try the large size of skyns. I find the standard size hard to put on, and feels so uncomfortable.

Large size is easier to put on and feels more comfortable.

Anyway all this is relative, as it depends on the size of you dick as well.

Recently we've been using Durex Invisible. But twice now I've had trouble rolling them down. They just kinda stopped halfway. I'm average size and when they do go on they are fine. Just sometimes they just won't roll down.

Anyone tried Lelo Hex condoms yet? We've just bought some but not yet had a chance to test them out.

I use condoms from Mysize.com they tell you how and what to measure to ensure a great fit.

I'm not sure who makes them but the clinic gave me some latex free condoms, each in a round pot with a blue tear off lid.

They were very small. Flippin useless!

I fed that back to them and they now give me skyns. Usually the large ones.

It's only since being sterilised after our last baby that we sometimes don't use anything , before this condoms were always used with others , we started 12 years ago but been on a break for 5 years before starting looking again in August. Would never of risked pregnancy with anyone other than husband.

The worst I ever tried were a brand called condomi, virtually impossible to get on, felt like wearing a cock ring, and I had to be completely flaccid to get the buggers off.

Mysize.com do a number of sizes based on your real measurements

They currently have a range of girth and lengths so you can really customisee to get a really good fit

Does your dildo have nerves so it can feel how tight the condom is?

I guess the condom manufacturers should have consulted you on this before wasting so much money on making a variety of sizes.

I can get into a size 15" collar shirt.. it cuts the blood off at my neck but I got it on. The issue isn't if it will fit, but whether it is too tight and cuts the blood flow. Same with condoms.

I don't have a problem with using condoms, I'm quite well hung and there are some tighter ones but on the whole most are fine.

Although do find that some brands are more prone to splitting.... "Mates" seem to be the worst offender for this.

My OH has experienced two failures due to condoms.

Hard when he started putting them on, soft as soon as it was on.

It was down to the standard nominal width being far too small. XL condoms tend to be a lot longer, but only marginally wider, so they don't help. When the width is too small, it actually restricts blood flow too much and causes a loss of erection.

We now buy from TheyFit - custom sized condoms - and he's not had that problem since!

Everyday is a school day. I just assumed that it was normal to not go all the way down. And they always fit too tight around. I have just been getting them off the self in the supermarket and I don't think there is a size option (or at least what I have notice). I was married for years so never used to be a problem. But now they are a pain. Maybe I should try some bigger ones online. Anyone suggest a good brand / OL retailer?
