What's everyone think of the sheer number of fake profiles popping up

I think it would be a good idea if real people recommended or introduced other real people "hey xxxxx I think you'd like xxxxx"

It ruins the character and integrity of the site. First series of messages is just trying to find out if each other is a real person as neither party want the cat fishes seeking them our publicly. Wastes time and is causing so many people (due to discretion and careers) to hide their pictures away and put up the barriers.

Just as in a club, it's all good, like minded people. I'd imagine if I saw my neighbour, they wouldn't mention it either.. kinda like an unwritten trust or understanding

But... I've scanned abiut 40% of female profiles to be fake. Not a clue about the men's, I'd imagine it to be worse.

Now, it's no longer a place where like minded people can openly communicate and comfortably show who they are because almost half the site are not like minded people because they are fake.

It's no wonder that plenty of fish and tinder seem to be where more people are getting more "encounters" .. yes, they have their hooker and fakes issues (not as bad) but nobody is afraid to show who they are because it's just a dating site (one which they use for sexual encounters).. if you're a school teacher on fab and a parent or sixth former finds you.. you've lost your job! And even if you didn't, you could never hold your head up in a classroom again

Yep in my not-so-large experience of the swinging world real-life recommendations happen a fair bit. When you get friendly with swingers you get invites to socials, threesomes and moresomes, and pointed to/matched with compatible others. However you are primarily looking for one-on-one with women, and in this dynamic the "swinging community" model doesn't apply so well.

What about single female profiles? I'm more suspicious if they don't have a verification to be honest. It's easy for a woman to get verified. It's far harder for men, so understandable if they don't have one even after a year

I joined fab and very quickly met a lovely lady, a few months later had a social with a couple and we are planning to meet up again soon, apart from that it's been very quiet but the more you're on fab and interacting the more likely a meet will be in my opinion, although you soon learn that just because it's on fab doesn't mean it's real!!!

I would say a fair chunk of the people we know was due to word of mouth. And we always check verifications to see if they know anyone we know. We've never got involved with a time waster or a fake since we've been on Fab, do whatever it is we are doing must be working.
