Searching abroad - Germany

Hi, I'm going to be working in Germany for a week in November and just wondered if you can search abroad, without waiting to do who's near when I get there. I did try searching for Germany but it came up with people in London.

I've tried the worldwide forum without success, so thought I'd have another attempt here. Thank you
