A change of heart

just had a sureal moment on here.

I saw a couple on here and liked what I saw. I read their profile and, they had reasonable amount of varis that sounded genuine not forged and were from people with large ammounts of varis themselves so I sent them a message without pics which is what they said on their profile, I asked about their status "you can't seem to give it away these days"

well 3 messages later over the last few days and things are going well I can see that they clearly are interested in me.

"they explain they have had 309 messages in the last hour and that I am one of them."

I went to send them a message detailing that seems excessive and that I hope you did not see me as a timewaister. only to find I was blocked.

1) bezare why the sudden change in hart?

2) had this ever happened to someone else on here?

3) where did I go wrong?

It happens all the time, could be any number of reasons for it. People are entitled to change their minds at any step of the way. It's called consent

Maybe only one of them read the message and when the other saw it, it was a no. We've done that before

Yes could be a simple change of heart

I've had similar experiences myself, all going along swimmingly and then when it starts getting down to the business end it suddenly starts to take a different tone!!

Some people just like the chase I think, I find it best to let go and move on!!

yeah maybe so. it's a shame but i haven't lost anything or gained anything other than to be more cynical and not get me hopes up.

I don't think you should see it as you having done anything wrong. The truth is that you will never know. It does happen. I am sure it has been there loss !
