Nice

Hello, I tried searching for Threads on this topic (on Swingers Chat & Support and advice)but I couldn't really find anything (possibly too far behind).

My question is pretty much, Based on peoples experiences and perspectives, What would you do if you randomly found/came across a profile of someone you know in your day to day "regular" life?

Someone you know who doesn't understand discretion/confidentiality or maybe someone you generally don't get along with.

The first thing that came to my mind was, "Just block them." But then I realised that there's a VERY HIGH chance that we could both attend the same socials, events, etc.

Long story short, what I'm asking is, if you were in such a situation, what would you do?

P.S.

Apologies if my expression isn't very clear, I usually only post on events and never been an OP.

East Sussex

you have three choices.

Block them and deal with it if you ever do meet them at a social.

Do nothing.

Leave the site.

Personally I would block and forget if you are concerned hide any identifiable photos, change your location slightly and carry on enjoying the site.

I just block them. I don't meet anyone local so the chances of our paths crossing are minimal.

When I was on here before, a guy I work with messaged me. I'm pretry sure he didn't recognise me. Just deleted the message and blocked him.

Hmm... Interesting.

I actually only found out about them as I was about to sign up for an event and noticed the profile.

I won't be going to that event as a result as I think it's too soon/I've obviously not come up with an appropriate solution yet...

But I won't leave or stop attending events because of them... That's why I feel the need to find a solution...

I got a message off a guy 30 odd miles away, totally not local, I knew him so that doesn't always work. Lol

I don't think there's a solution as such because the person or people are an unknown quantity. It's possible that in this case they will be discreet or will avoid you...you don't know.
