Hi, I've been told this morning that someone has copied my profile pics and is using them on POF. Has anyone else had this happen? Any advice?

I feel like I can't show any pics now and has spoilt the whole Fab experience for me

When I was married, my Google account was hacked and my photos used on Tinder and Zoosk.

Hi hun, would you be able to message me as your message filters doesn't permit me to you. This apparently happened to me but turned out to be false.

If anyone else has been contacted by someone claiming this please contact me as it appears to be the same guy targetting women on here to get his message noticed. Spoke to 3 women now who's have the same message in the last few days which turns out to be false. All reported him but he remains active on here.

Spoke to Daisy about this and it was the same guy that messaged me to and the exact same claim and profile name on POF which doesn't exist. What a creep and cheep tactic.

If anyone wants to confirm if it's the same guy if they get a message like this please feel free to contact me too.

Ihad my pictures taken and used on a fake profile on here - I knew cause someone I was talking to asked me why I had another profile!

The other profile was soon closed but it is concerning that people can take your pictures

I guess if you never want things like that to happen we need to be private - which ain't fun

Had a guy two days ago track me down on Instagram & facebook and try contact me there for a meet because he was out of my age range on here and couldn't message me. Reported but heard nothing and he's still on here

yeah i didn't want mine associated with fab really as i've got my kids as friends, that's also why it didn't last long and i decided to delete.

Happened to me ladt week ladies. My profile totally copied onto POF abd all pics. When challenged the 'The White Knight' who had rescued me press for my face pic. That's what he's after. It's a scam to get your face pic. My profile was on pof and totally lifted off here (and he'd knocked 12 years off my age lol).

If any ladies want his name pm me.

Yes so you give him your phone number and send face pics. They then go on he Web as fake accounts. I have his tel no and face pic if anyone wants it (he certainly doesn't have mine!) X

I had someone Nick my pics on here and post them as 'her' own. Luckily a lot of people both friends and people I don't know messaged me as soon as it happened. She was well verified which I couldn't work out. That profile was deleted then she started a new profile the day after and nicked it again! Got removed again by admin. Some sad fuckers about

I have had this happen to me and my pics were put on Craiglist, I reported this to Craiglist administration and told them the pics were used without my permission and if they weren't removed I would report it to the police. ..

The pics were promptly removed ...

unfortunately any of us that put pics up can be at risk of them used :-/

idk how to log into the shell accounts. i have got one and it hasn't been deleted but i can't find how to login to it after setting it up.

Yeh I've had it done to me on here as well. That made me only put photos up that I was not bothered about going viral on the Web. The strange thing is they both knocked years off me (the one on here 10 yrs and the pof one 12) FFS I'm old and proud lol.

Im finding this really creepy as its one of the reasons i will not put pics on here,ive been burned in the past and if anyone does ever want to meet me then its defo a blind meet and i dont even send a pic when asked...many ask but dont get as if theres no pics then theres nothing to steal.x

Report the man using the nicked pics line , Admin won't tolerate that. You just have to be patient as they go through hundreds of reports a day.

To the people complaining about Admin , they have to have evidence on the site to act or we could all accuse anyone of anything to get a person chucked off the site. You wouldn't like someone making a serious allegation about you and you getting thrown off when you havn't done anything.

o serious allegations that have happened away from the site, the best advice is to go to the police, report it and if the police need to contact Admin they will.
