Clubbing alone

I'm relatively new to the scene and i'm dying to go to more clubs but i'm nervous about going on my own!! Advise please! X

You'll be fine, people will talk to you and you'll make friends amd wonder what you were so nervous about.

Being nervous is good though, all adds to the excitement

I was the same and said so on the Fourm page about a club night, I got a message from a lady who said she and her mate would meet me which they did had a great time and been a few more times with them.

I'm the same going to the cinema is no big thing as your sitting there watching a film but a place where you have to talk to someone is a different story lol

I went to a social group meet on my own I was the first one there lol but the staff where great and kept me company.

You probably won't even have to make the first move, there's going to be someone who will just randomly start talking

Or advertise for a club buddy, that way you'll have someone to talk to

I have been on my own loads of times. Im a very shy anti social person so would never start a conversation with someone but guys always chat and once they realise i love footy and can chat about it we chat away which breaks the ice

If it's a reputable club, the staff will help you settle in and make sure you are ok. I went to a club alone - the people were lovely and made me feel welcome. I had a great night chatting to people and they answered a lot of newbie questions.

My advice would be not to go with any set intentions, just go with an open mind. Don't be scared To chat to people at the bar - swingers are a very friendly and chatty lot.

I'm comfortable in my own skin, and life is too short to worry.

Based on that, I've been to two clubs by myself after being let by others.

Good times and character building.

Go, meet people and have some fun.

You'll be be fine I did my first club visit in my own at Liberty elite and everyone there were so friendly so I'm sure you'll be fine

I felt the same. Now I wish I'd had the bottle years ago. If you choose your club well, then staff will be really supportive. I've even phoned/messaged ahead when going to a new club alone and told them, so they've hand held a little at first. Again, if you choose your club wisely, the regulars will make you feel welcome and there are usually social areas in the club such as bars, lounge, smoking areas, jacuzzi etc where it's really easy to strike up conversation. People will usually approach you. After a few visits, you'll probably find you have a new circle of swinging friends

i go alone to bi fem events quite happily - i went once to a club night for someones birthday - i knew the staff well and chatted to a few but was way out of my comfort zone - and i had gone purely as a social not a play night - just didnt sit right with me - dunno why
