Yes there is a chance of getting a STI but it is pretty low. Firstly the guy you blow must have an STI, then you are still probably safe unless you have bleeding gums or other oral health issues.

If he cums in your mouth and you swallow, the bugs are dead by the time they get anywhere they could infect you.

I have enjoyed giving unprotected BJs to guys in MMF situations including swallowing. I think a condom would spoil the feeling just as a dental dam would for cunnilingus.
