Meet requests.

Has anyone ever got a meet having put a meet/event post up? With anyone new? Or do they still require verifications? .

I've just browsed through and thinking about posting myself. (You know, putting yourself out there. )

Never had a meet from advertising for one..I very rarely meet people that I've spoken to the same day

They are very useful, especially for club visits.

We often put one on saying we are going to xyz on Saturday. Good way to start chatting beforehand. We respond to people who have done the same. So in our experience they work ok.

I never post asking for a meet.

I occasionally use the function to say I'm attending a club and for people to say hello.

Exactly, a meet just saying come and say hi is how we do it. It's a good ice breaker and then all can just see how things work out

I've never bothered to look at them I'd much rather have a chat with friends beforehand as it's less awkward then.

I've certainly had some luck when other people have posted meets on here. And yes it's a good talking point if it's a club night.
