hi i am very new too this site, just wondered if any one could give any advice???

i am a humourous, okish looking genuine guy but can be a bit shy and lost for words at first till i get too the person that i am speaking too,

i see alot of the blokes being really upfront and quite rude.

surely this approach does not work??? or does it???

any help will be great and anyone wanting too show me the ropes will be even better.

thanks a million

matt

Look at it as a community, think how you would behave if you arrived in a new area and tried out your new local. Chat, get to know people, develop friendships and you will find that things will develop from there.

Always send a message that shows you have read the profile & not just looked at the pics & thought WOW.

If it is a couple you are messaging always say hi to both parties. Just a thought. Good luck.

mate the best advice i can offer is to observe those that have a simalar personality or wants, as yourself and just be friendly and polite when opening up dialog. almost as important is to be aware that some people are not quite as civilised as you would like them to be, so be prepared for the occasional bitchy comment, refusal of meets or ignoring of messages. if you're prepared for that, then you appreciate all the more, those that are nice to chat to and even meet. however, after having said that....i've only ever met one girl from this site, been blocked by one couple because i couldn't meet them and also annoyed one couple due to my poor sense of humor....so i might not be the best person to listen too lol ignore the above

"hi i am very new too this site, just wondered if any one could give any advice???"

Welcome to Fab! Good advice from the forumites above. Most importantly is, be yourself (and just avoid the obvious no-nos, such as mailing peeps who you're not a good match with, spamming with an obvious copy & paste message, ignoring the male half of a couple, etc)

Let your personality shine through, use the forums and the chat room to get yourself known, maybe think about attending one of the socials. Good luck and happy swinging!
