When sending a photo ... and putting a tick for it disappear once its been seen ... seems to not disappear straight away as tried it yesterday

How long we get to see the pic before it disappears

Not sure of the exact time but I have received a few pms with ticked pics that had disappeared in about 5 mins

Doesn't it work if you go into the Sent mail after they have read it that you can remove the photo then too?

I have a vague memory of doing this
