Anger over should we display again

So we've had a few piccies stolen. None rude or face but it has royally peed me off!

I'm calmer now and wondered if I should put some back. What do ppl think?

we had ours stolen once, felt fed up for a bit then put some more up.

You're never going to stop it so you have to decide whether to take the risk or not. Using a watermark helps

If you dont mind me asking....how do you know they were stolen?

Presumably they appeared on Fab or another site?

Did you do a reverse image search etc?

Im asking because ours are very public and just wanting to educate ourselves

It's been known to happen that people will use others photos on their own profile. I regularly Google image search our pics to make sure. It's all you can really do x

I didn't think that pics here would appear in reverse image searches. If I download one of mine and reverse search it, I get no results.

OP find an app that allows you to add your name across your photos bit do it in a way that can't be cropped like I do across the photo.

I had some of mine stolen hence I do this now xx

If you put on the privacy settings you don't want your profile publically searched or seen by non-members then it wouldn't show up on a image search on Google etc. It would show of they were on other public sites only. It won't show if anyone has downloaded them from private use though which is so easy to do.

a pics a pic its an inanimate object it can only tell a story of a pose ,put your pics up whats the worst that can happen

My husband posted our profile picture on his Twitter account. Shortly after a woman stole the photo to use for her own Twitter profile picture. There's nothing I can do to about it, and to be quite honest I took it as a compliment. We just make sure any kinky pictures of us are not recognisable as us.

We had some of our pictures pinched many moons ago this is why we watermark everyone now, it's not a 100% guaranteed solution but it puts the chancers off.

We use photoscape to do it as quick and easy on there.

My Own Little World

Watermark your pics. Easily done, most photo apps have the facility to add words to a pic, can even use paint on your PC.
