We've been approached by an amateur photographer outside of fab.He knows about our lifestyle, and has offered us money for a photo shoot for his own private collection, and a copy of all the pics.

Anyone done this?If so how much did you charge/get paid etc(pm me those details if you want)

You understand that if it becomes his collection he can do what he wants with them e.g. Post them on the web or even sell them....as long as you're happy with that then enjoy.

Payment/price will general depend on the experience and quality of the model(s) and how many hours you want to hire them for. Has he told you he is going to pay you? To me it sounds like he doesn't plan on paying you in cash but doing a TFP(Time for prints) deal, where you get to keep the photos instead.

Cash has been offered as well as a flash drive of the pics.he wants to photograph us having sex which we are intrigued by.

Anything from €50-€200 is about the going rate for erotic/nude models. Wouldn't have much clue on the added price of sex. No harm in aiming high and negotiating.

That's what excites us more than the money, and it would be a nice memento to have too look back on to think we were hot as fuck in younger days

Oh dear - think I must be a skin-Flint as I never pay - I do get a up of coffee for my time, touch up as required and provide all photos. Those that ask me trust me enough to keep a copy for them (just in case). I *have* been asked for them again after they were lost. I always delete after processing if asked.

I have been the photographer for a lady wanting a sub bondage set.

We met three times to discuss poses, style and equipment.

We split the shots into A,B & C shots. C was standard portraiture, B was bondage & nude and A was more extreme, although tamer than a lot on this site, she supplied a friend to supply the dick!

I have equal rights on the C shots, useful for my portfolio. A & B were supplied in straight, blurred & copyrighted versions. I do not have any rights to these, I don't even have backups. I'm sure she would allow me use if I asked, depending on the application.

Tall shots were supplied on USB stick, I was paid £80 for the shoot, plus use of the C shots.

It's all about trust.

We've done a few shoots. Best was turning up at a studio with a real professional photographer (who was on Fab).

*Awful* lot of fun, and nothing bad happened.

The quality was out of this world - better than magazines. He used professional software (not photoshop) and you can see why.

We've had problems using them, as a lot of people say they are too good and must be copied from somewhere !

Have mailed you. Happy to let you know more.

You're implying that Photoshop isn't professional software?

Never done this but I'd be wary of someone taking a bunch of nude and explicit photographs and having them to himself. Some years ago I had a strange request from a bloke I had met with for sex many times. He wanted pictures of us kissing and asked his mate to take the pictures. All clothed, he wanted kissing pics. I was OK with that because I sort of liked him too.

Having said all that, I know that many people secretly or overtly record swinger sex sessions. The vast majority keep them to themselves and don't spread them around. So the risk is quite small.

The way to look at it is... Be open minded and think, you are going to get your steamy session explicitly recorded. And be given copies for you and the photographer, that sounds like a horny and cool thing to do

But just be aware that his word is just that, in reality he can do what he wants with the those pictures and you wouldn't have a clue!!

Sorry to drag on.. So. Go into it open minded, if you can trust him ( great ) or the other side there's every chance that the photos will get leaked and if you are ok with that and no one gets hurt.. Go for it

But if that's not a risk worth taking then don't !! ( we would love to do it but knowing our luck

Whatever you guys do we do sincerely hope it works out xx

Your public photos are pretty explicit anyway so it seems to be just a small extra risk.

It may be used by professionals, but it's not the only gig in town. We were left the DVD with the enormous raw data files on. The processed images were done on dedicated workstation. No photoshop n sight.

As far as I know (although the law may have changed), the photographer always owns the rights to any picture they have taken. Unless they sell the rights.

copyright lies with the creator of the image. The photographer is sole copyright owner.

Usage is a separate thing. Regardless of whether the photographer pays, is paid or collaborates, both parties will have to agree to commercial use of the image.

I'd love to know what that was as Photoshop is the de facto professional image editing software. I'm unaware of any comparable product available for editing stills photography. There are many other editing solutions but they're mostly plug-ins for Photoshop.

Clacton on sea, Essex

Expect about £50-£80 to do a few photo sets, each set will be be between 50 & 80 pics.

If you have to sign a model release he will sell the pics no doubt of that so rewrite any release before signing to suit your requirements.

If he doesn't want a model release the photos can't be used legally on a pay site but free sites will take anything and most amateur pics end being promotional fodder anyway.
