I've been chatting with someone for a good while now. We arranged to meet about 2 months ago. I had to cancel.we arrange again she cancels ..arrange again she cancels again. Was wondering if it's worth trying again or should we call it a day case of some things aren't meant to be.

Depends on the reasons. Only you know if she's worth it or not.

Arrange to meet her at a club, if she shows, great, if she doesn't then find someone else to play with.

We've been in situations like that. The first time (not from Fab) it took us 8 months to meet, then subsequent meets were like extracting teeth to arrange. I think we would have given up sooner with this man if we were to meet someone like that now, and we were wrong to put all our eggs in one basket.

Then more recently we have been in communication with a man for a year now, and met once 6 months ago. This is more circumstantial. It may happen, it may not. But we do other things and see other people, so if we do meet this guy one day it will be a bonus. If not it doesn't really matter, we had a lot of fun chatting.

Just don't out all your eggs in one basket for a man you may or may not meet.

Try one more time, if she cancels again then clearly it's not going to happen.

"So your going to give up because of one person? "

That's not what he is saying hes asking if he should give up on one who continually cancels. I would personally give 2 chances no more

gut feelings - we were like this with a couple- just couldnt match diaries - we did eventually and was more than worth it - if you feel shes avoiding then move on -

Up on them there hills

Happened to me (male)

First time I hit a pothole two days before, knocked the front disc and CV joint.

Next she had to change for work commitments.

Next, the date we choose became logistically impossible.

Tomorrow, we'll see.

I don't feel she's avoiding me and I believe her reasons just seems it's never going to happen

Why not just wait and see. Some meets take ages to around or see if your chat naturally fades out? It's your call really.

There is someone I have been desperate to meet for months but i have been ill for a long time and not been well enough. Luckily they have been very patient so far. Unfortunately things do crop up in real life which can mean that meetings have to be put off. As long as she is not leading you on to the point that you are spending time and money turning up to the meet only to be let down then I don't see what you have to lose by trying one more time

Life and work get in the way of fun for all people on fab .Alot of genuine reasons why meets are cancelled. I think if it's someone you like it's worth waiting .Chat on fab and meet others then one day you both may meet up .

Lots of women on here only give one chance. By that reckoning you would've been out the window, genuine reason or not....how would you feel?

Stokeish...

I am kind of hard to pin down - I have a number of people I've chatted to for months but not met, one I bumped into at Xtasia on Friday despite the fact we both live near each other an hour away!

I'm not offended if people lose interest, that's life

Sometimes work commitments and life gets in the way of your leisure time. I finally met someone a year after receiving his first message on here, because our free time didn't correspond. Life happens.

I've no clue. If it was probably messing me about, then I'd not give another chance.

If it was just standard stuff that can happen, and your earlier personal cancellation is unrelated anyway, then it's up to you to decide op.

Keep options with other people open and don't just pursue one person.

I don't have relationships with people at a distance but I do speak with them before confirming a meet. I'd also expect to discuss any cancellation and not just rely on a text message.

Once you've done that, then you're in a position to work out if there's some game or something underhand, that's going on.
