So we had our first meet on here, it went really well from our point of view.

the gent said he would verify us as gen but now on day 3 and still no sign of it coming.

I know its down to the person and its not a requirement of the site, but it is now starting to knock my partners confidence (It was her first swing expericence) so she is seeing it as she was a let down to the 3rd party

has anyone had this sort of thing? I know you have to take this site with a teflon heart just curious how often it happens

Never expect a veri and u won't be disappointed. It's not uncommon for people not to veri meets that they haven't enjoyed.

I wouldn't contact him x

And there has been loads of guys I haven't veried because the meet wasn't great. And ive had a couple of guys not veri me.

a lot of guys haven't verified me. i think it is because i (used to) fuck a lot of guys so they didn't wanna be associated with me because a lot of people think i'm an STD risk.

i'd message him and ask if he sent one because sometimes filters mean you don't recieve the veri.

Some don't veri, some get hung up on it. Just chalk it up to experience. I'm sure it won't affect you getting more meets.

Has he verid others? One guy who gave me a veri said he was rubbish at wiring and asked me to do it for him & hed copy & paste!

I didn't I just told him to site owt. Maybe he's rubbish with words x

Sorry to hear boo is feeling her confidence knocked. It's defo a crap feeling waiting for a veri. Some people do take longer than others..I've waited weeks for one to appear. Some people get stumped on what to write and like to think it over..

Can you see if he's been online at all?

Not sure if its the done thing but I've messaged to remind people before now, after them saying they'd do one.

I think its only polite to return a veri..gory details don't have to be given.

If it irks you a lot an option further down the line is to block him so your veri won't show on his profile. I'd say give him the benefit of the doubt and wait a while though.

Try not to let it knock your confidence and stay in the saddle. X

There's also some perfectly explainable reasons why he hasn't.

In the past on my old account I struggled to leave certain people veri's. Sometimes it was because on here I didn't fit their filter criteria so couldn't actually leave one.

Ask him if he has tried to leave one, maybe a site issue

Its a pain isn't because you can't verify til he does.

I'd send one reminder message then, if no veri after that assume he doesn't want to meet again and move on. Don't let it affect your experience on here. It just didn't work out with him.

There used to be a glitch if you and who you met shared the same IP address or something and that stopped them from leaving you a verification

I've had 5 social meets to date and my veris have been lost in the post I think

Its annoying for several reasons

1) cant contact certain people due to filters

2) most wont take us seriously because we are not verified in person

So its a bit of a vicious circle really.... Hes been on and not returning messages or even reading them so no point in chasing it

And i know its a bit of a whiny post which i apologise if it comes across as one.

Even if we had a meet we didnt enjoy it doesnt take 5 mins to do a generic blurb if that makes sense

Get yourself in cam on here, as a couple obviously. You don't have to do anything sexual but just mention a meet won't verify you so you thought you'd ask for a cam veri. I'm sure many guys would be happy to, and cam veri gets you round the unverified filters.

If you are relying on verifications for your confidence, perhaps a site like this isn't for you? You guys might do better in a club or similar, where there's no method for feedback afterwards.

It was a mix of things that were knocking the confidence. first time,

her opinion on the meet itself and how it went ect ect.

We prefer openness and honesty... if things were bad, it can be used constructively for next time. but if things are not said, how do people know?

After nearly a year on fabs; I received my first veri only 2 weeks ago. I was told that the flood gates would open for me but nothing much has changed. I think there's no water behind the gates LOL
