Second post in 24 hours, but this is one I've been thinking about for a while.... Long story short after a little while on here I found out my dad has a profile on here.... Recently I've been staying at his with my step mum (he's away during the week!) his profile reads he's a single male, will travel any distance etc, the problem I'm having is she's such a lovely lady and does not deserve this sort of treatment... So my question is fab;do I mention it to her? Keep quiet? Headfucked isn't the word!

Agree, that is a very difficult situation as you do have loyalties to your dad, however his wife doesn't deserve to be deceived!

I'd be talking to him if I were you - you seem to like (not like that!) your step mum - think about how doubly betrayed she'd feel if she found out that not only is your dad behaving like he is, but you knew too and didn't do or say anything? You're an adult, you have a sex life too.

Maybe say to your dad is a jokey way that a friend at work had mentioned a website called fab and for a laugh you had a look at it.

Say it's a single mans dream if you don't want to be tied down but not for married people.

Make it jokey but mention cheating

OP you've said that your dads a known cheater so telling him that you know he's on here won't stop him cheating and might affect your relationship with him.

Telling your stepmum could have far reaching consequences and ultimately lead to the end of their relationship.

What you do with the information you have is up to you...just be prepared for what might happen if you speak to either of them about it.

I would definitely be saying something to him, one because it's your dad and two because if you have spotted your dad who else does he know has already spotted him. And what if one of those people tells your stepmum. It's only harmless fun when nobody gets hurt.... If you can see your stepmum being hurt then say something to him. He may well tell you to mind your own but at least you tried x

At the end of the day he's your father and I doubt most fathers would react well to moral judgement from their children, even if it is accurate.

You said that he'd always been a playa and therefore your step mum is an adult who can make her own decisions. You'd be surprised how many women willfully turn a blind eye to this kind of thing.

If you want to do anything then you could talk to him about her in the general sense and see if he volunteers anything.

Just tell him you know he's cheated, you don't have to mention how you know. Tell him you don't think your step mum deserves it and how would he feel if she did it to him. It might give him something to think about and at least you've tried. But you don't know why he is doing it and she might be aware so I wouldn't talk to her.

I agree with the above. People don't change, and people who lie don't stop lying when they are confronted: they simply lie some more then find another way to be devious. If you like the woman and hate the thought of her being cheated on then you could engineer a way for her to find out (anonymous email linking to profile etc) but she probably already suspects.
