Genuine? Or not?

So, here's the scenario.

Chatting to what seems like a very friendly couple. Mutual interests, likes and dislikes and seems to be progressing well.

But, having been here before myself a few times for long periods and also messed about by time wasters, I'm more cautious with my approach with some.

So, this profile had been a registered member for 'over a year' and also has photo verification but had no gold or silver membership, no private gallery and also hasnt ever been verified.

Just wondered how others would approach? Or not at all?

Had someone contact us very similar to that, been on over a year but really pushy about us meeting them for a drink, said we'd only do a club meet and they had the cheek to ask us why we were on fab if that's the case. Ended up blocking. Plenty of other genuine people to meet in fab

someone who's genuine will not mind going out of there way to prove just that.. a fake will hold back on some stuff particularly the mobile number and chatting ..however nothing is foolproof..

Either ask to cam or speak to them in the phone but Defo cam and if they say they can't then run as most phones have apps to do this

I'd trust my gut. I'd think it was unlikely they'd meet but not impossible. Any sniff of something not quite right then I stop chatting.

If you think it's going well ask for a chat over Skype. Atleast you will have a better idea then.

It seems the proof is in the pudding as the saying goes.

They were happy to discuss a meeting place, date, time etc. When they requested another picture, I pointed that they have no private gallery or verifications to which the reply was along the lines of

' I can't believe we agreed to a potential meet and you won't send another pic and want to see us'

Browsing in mind is sent them a picture. Funny thing is I'd already sent a clear face picture and THEY blocked me.

Yet another waster messing up the goodness of this site. Another bloke at he end of a couples profile no doubt.

Thank you all (and and if anyone is looking for a genuine chat/meet, give someone like me a try. Some of us work real hard to make more friend and have fun)

Just call their bluff and ask for a facetime/Skype/telephone call... We always do it relatively early so we don't waste our time.

I don't do phone calls or cam. I'm not that keen on socials unless it's very convenient. However we're not fakes, we just don't want to do those things. We meet only at clubs at first. If someone refuses to do that I don't call them fake, it's just a meet doesn't happen. Shrug.

But the excuses for worst and they got found out in the end. Hence the block.

I gave my phone number in the beginning and got stalked and harassed. Had to delete the profile and start again. Use kik and go with the gut. if it doesn't feel right then it more than likely isn't!

This is my normal type of approach. The last thing I want to be is pushy. Tough enough as it is.

I never give out my mobile number, maybe I am a fake??? I do however have KIK which I believe is safer than giving out a personal number

Arrange to meet them at a club. If they don't show up then domt give it a second though and party all night long with the other guests at the club...
