As title suggest..

Numerous pics are clearly photoshopped, not filters, pure enhancement?

When you say clearly enhanced what do you actually mean, changing body shape that kind of thing?

The term photoshop means different things to different people as I think good lightening, filters & photos taken from angles can all enhance a body (or mislead to some degree.)

I'm sure someone mentioned an app on here before that can alter body shape, can't remember what it's called, fluid / shape something?!! I'm wondering if it can make me into a size 10 with long legs

tbh I have no idea where the fab picture mods stand on photoshopped pics but I personally don't see the point of them if people are actively meeting then someone is going to get a shock when they pitch up

Photoshop is softwarw that allows you too manipulate an image or alter ot completley, i could professionally add another breast to Mrs p4k or as mentioned prior make my dick 4ft long with a hissing snakes head on the end and youd struggle to see the work done.. adding a filter or lighting to an image is enhancing a real picture, not manipulating or forging a picture to appear different.. and to answer your question yes you could, my question is would it be moral?

I see what you mean though and no I don't think it's right.

Adverts have to state if an image has had enhancement like extra lashes applied for mascara as it false representation.

Are these people meeting of just uploading pics, at the end of the day it's going to be pretty obvious when you meet in the flesh if you've got a wee bit carried away with the PS.

Adobe Photoshop is professional image editing software, which can distort images to make people look better or worse

A pointless exercise for those who use fab to meet other members for fun .

As a pro photographer can I just point out that using the correct lens e.g. a long lens can compress perspective and make a big nose look smaller or a fully open lens can blur background or a soft focus lens can smooth skin tones.

Manipulated images have existed since 1857 when Oscar Rejalander produced a composite 'The Two Ways of Life'. Nearly all the 1930's Hollywood star photos were hand retouched.

Not quite sure where you're going to draw the line. Especially as the photo may not even be of the person who it claims to be!

The vast majority of our pics aren't and just come straight out of our phones, but some of our images are Photoshopped.

I've done this to correct perspective (make the horizontals horizontal again etc.) to adjust the colours, or contrast etc. Not add extra boobs or snake penises!

As others have said, there are a whole host of image manipulation software and apps. Any picture that you see on here in black and white had been manipulated in some way.

So I think it all depends on how much you do it. You could have a bigger effect with make up, lighting, choice of lens, poses, cropping, sucking your belly in etc. So is it worse to do it infront of the camera or after the pictures been taken?
