Hi. I'm new to the forums, and I was hoping for a bit of advice. I've mainly had really positive interactions with people on this site, but tonight it's been negative.

A guy sent me really long, flowery messages. I replied saying 'thanks but no thanks' and he then went on to accuse me of being someone else? And of cheating-and that he was going to tell on me.

He's got the wrong person, as I'm single, and ready to mingle-but I've given up trying to explain and be nice. I've just reported and blocked him. Is that the best thing to do?

Some people are weird-I think he was just messing with me!

Just ignore him and move on. There are idiots everywhere and best ignored in my humble opinion x

All we ever get on here when we say no thank you is a load of abuse and death threats.

Some people on here are really nice, they take time to read your profile and are genuienly nice. Then there are the idiots, who never read profiles, send about 20 dick pics, abuse and swear at you when you say no and then threaten you. My advice is, just do exactly what you did, block, report and move on and talk to he nice people

Never explain, ever. If you get an abusive message never be nice, ever. Block, forget or laugh and concentrate on the nice ones.

That's fine! I wasn't expecting anyone to take sides, I was just checking that the block function etc is the way to go. I actually can't remember if he had any verifications or not. Thank you.

I think sending no thanks replies just leads to nastiness. As rude as it is it is not worth replying sometimes!

Sorry you had to deal with this idiot. Copy paste report to admin. And just move on. My block list is stupidly long but thats what it takes. Enjoy fabs don't let the stupuds spoil it for you xxx

Unfortunately the message you received when you said no thanks, is why many just delete without reply. Personally I've never understood why you would abuse someone for saying no. Its hardly likely that make them change their mind!

You did the right thing, op, by blocking. If the message was really abusive then also report to admin.

Be wary though, he may come back under a different profile. Another reason many couples and single females block all single males altogether.

Thank you. I did report and block. Thankfully this has been a rare occurrence for me on here, it's been fun so far!
