Been off work all week and trying to arrange a meet.

I have been rejected by 3 women now because I am only 5' 5".

A. Is it really that big a problem.

B. Is there a way around it.

Just getting a bit down that I am being turned down for something I can't help.

I guess so.

It narrows down the field dramatically though.

It also takes a fair bit of time to find the right profiles as they is not a height option in the search.

It is kind of an issue for me...as bad as that sounds. I prefer men to be taller than me (although you are by a few inches) but women to be short like me. I really wish you could search by height.

Not a problem for me. I'm the same height and have met a guy that was shorter than me....i have a similar problem in that I'm always getting turned down because I'm not a gym fit blond. My solution is to find guys that like fat arses

I am petitte, 4ft 11". I like small, medium and tall men....don't like them too skinny...everyone has some personal preference but there are plenty of people on here who don't mind what height the man is, keep looking, be polite, be honest....

also - at a club once you get chatting pesonality overcomes many physical aspects so it is always worth going to a social or a club to mingle

I understand that women do have a preference for a guy taller than them I totally understand that. But is it a dating site or a swinging site? Saying a guy is less attractive because he is short is a bit confusing to me.

On fab I believe it does limit a guys opportunities if he is short. It's all about preferences and fantasy and being realistic it is fairly common for women to prefer tall guys.

In the real world it is less of an issue. A good looking smaller guy with a good personality will never struggle.

I am not claiming to be good looking nor would I boast of being a charismatic personality but confidence does compensate to some degree for being short.

My whole dating career were of men 6ft and over. No real reason why as most folks are taller than me anyways (I am 4ft 11). The fella I am dating just now is around your height which is the shortest I've dated and that's been for 4.5 yes.

It's defiantly a draw back here .

I've been on before and had meets .

I'm 5 4 . But if I actually ask or get an answer as to why if I get knocked back , height is defiantly by far theist common reason

Ive met with men around your height and some who are the same height as me (I'm 5"3) to be honest most of them just haven't mentioned height...it sometimes comes as a little bit of a shock if you've got an image in your head when they first arrive but it's never changed my opinion on them as a person or changed attraction level for me, just not what I necessarily expected. People often "forget" to mention the extra weight gain since that photo was taken, maybe just don't mention it, if asked don't lie but don't be the one to bring it up.

you'll find some meets out there or let your personality shine in a club situation, I often end up playing with someone at a club who wouldn't neccesarily be top of my fab list, mental stimulation is the best form of foreplay! Xx

Heights a funny thing for girls. I'm tall so would never ever consider a man under 6ft....but that's my insecurities and not a reflection on the guy. It's about what makes the girl comfortable unfortunately. We all have preferences so don't take it to heart

I understand what the op is saying but it is purely a preference for most women on here.I get knocked back regular because of my height and I just move on as I know there is always someone who doesn't have that preference although they are few and far between ....be patient and pro active is my advice.

Think of all the positives:

1. No shortage of work at christmas

2. No tax on kids clothes and shoes

3. You can live in old cottages and hobbit holes

4. You may be considered a giant by tribes in central africa and south america

5 No problems getting work in horse racing

rather than the negatives

1. Small man Syndrome - as clearly exhibited by mssrs Cruz and Kyle

2. Not being able to go on all the rides

3. Apparently not being able to get a date on here

We have the 3 young lads...every now & then I roughly compare them in height to their peers fearing they are going to end up short arses (in much the same way as nobody wants a ginger grandchild - nobody wants short arse sons).

I have no problem with people shorter than me, I don't get much choice being 6'2, if I only wanted to meet people my height or taller I would have a very limited choice lol
