There are so many threads asking for advice from single men and all the advice advocakes good pics. I know I feel like a right twat taking selfies so surely an amateur female photographer could clean up on here?

just use a bit of imagination and perseverance and hey, presto!

Nothing wrong with selfies at all. It's just that middle aged men are not meant to do certain things. Dance, talk about sex in front of the kids, and selfies.

I've been asked to let people take pics of me... Errr no thanks. All mine are selfies and it will stay that way

All the above ladies have great pics. This is to be expected, you have a natural talent for it.

Steve however has shown me an unexpectedly imaginative use of red wine and haribos. And we know how everyone loves haribos.

B) why not use the timer instead of holding it up??

I advertised a few times I was willing to shoot profile pictures for people for nowt.

When they found out I wasn't using it as a euphemism for sex, they never bothered.

Shame really. I've shot men's underwear catalogues for some of the big high street brands.

Another way I knew I was different.

I love taking pictures of myself. I talked about the birds and bees to all four of my kids as my lady didn't feel comfortable doing it. The kids still come to me with their relationship hiccups.

And I dance all night given the chance

There are selfies and there are selfies. Yours are fantastic. I remember seeing one bloke and my hubby said he looked plain weird and scary - like he'd just buried someone under the patio. We didn't message him...
