Do it, if your already thinking about it, then take the next step and do it.

You don't have to play and depending on the club, you can stay dressed.

Good luck and I hope you decide to go

Totally agree, go for it - much better than a vanilla club and you will be totally safe. Talk to the owner/host and they will show you around and introduce you to people. Don't feel pressured to do anything, just go at your pace.

Enjoy

You Dont Need to Know, right now

Go for it! I spent months thinking about it, losing weight, etc, and when I got there, I wondered what on earth I had been waiting for. There are literally all sizes and shapes of people at clubs, so whatever your body issues, you're bound to fit in. Tell the owner/manager that you're new, and they will show you round, introduce you to a few of the regulars etc. You won't look back!

Single ladies feel safe at Atlantis Evolution, some prefer to go there than the normal clubs.

Do it, its a hugely liberating experience. We were grinning like Cheshire cats for a week after our first club visit

I was very body conscious but va web site fascinated me and had to go. It was very liberating and seeing that most bodies aren't "perfect" and how free and uncaring they were of their size or shape was such a confidence boost. We are going to va Friday if you want someone to say hi to

Why don't you both go, with a view to not play and just to see how it goes? It is great fun beng in a club as a couple. Younwill not go wrong on your own either, but it might be a good start to go together...

Same thoughts here

I'm very body conscious but the idea really excites me!

I think once I'm there & relaxed I would be fine but it's the getting in the door bit that scares me

Absolutely yes do go to a club!

* can be a little shy and am very body conscious

You can overcome that as a first stage,

then consider what "playing" appeals to you.

* and have never been around lots of people in that scenario

You'll know whether it excites you and you want to be a part of it - or whether you want to be an occasional spectator but no more than that - or you find it was very interesting and it was good to meet the people you did, in understanding that actually it's not for you purely as a matter of inclination.

Most important point - in a swinging club you are in control. You are within "club rules", so you are secure going on your own uninitiated into a swinging club.

Go. You'll be fine. There will be people of all shapes and sizes in there. Which personally is part of the fun. But mostly it'll be like being in a pub, but you see more boobs and willies.

Central

Many of us feel apprehensive for that first time or a new venue.

I usually give myself a get-out clause. Like it's OK to stay for just a few minutes. My first time was great and it ended up being hours.

I think you're right to assume that you won't play though. You don't know the full set up, how you'll feel etc. Be a little like the Hotel Inspector off T.V, then just relax as you find your feet.

People are friendly and understand how it is for others. Management will probably look after you too.

I am the same... And have to say, what a great post! I think I may take the plunge very soon as a newbie and go for it! We always imagine things to be far worse than it is!

Would definitely recommend going to a club, they are great places, some more social than others but check out the reviews on the site, find one which suits what you want and go for it! You won't regret trying it, even if it isn't for you.

My suggestion would be to look at the clubs around you, or within driving distance and see any comments about the place. Maybe drop a few messages to people that have been, and see if there are any going that can take you, no obligations? You can then get an idea of what to expect, but without any pressures?

You will love it though

Definately take the plunge and go clubs are a safe environment and staff are great and will look after you my only piece of advice would be be careful what nights you choose singles nights could be a bit daunting as lot of single blokes and although majority are respectful you may get one or two who will follow you and may make you feel uncomfortable I would suggest a couples night where a lot of couples are there to socialise more than play and will probably be more respectful to your situation and offer to look after you for the night and introduce to others within the club

It is nerve wracking even as a couple venturing into the unknown, but I spent alot of time on my own exploring new places, in not many of them them did I feel as safe as I have in a swingers club on my own.

I find a swingers club offers everything I want and need and I feel extremely safe in the environment, and with the people there. In a normal bar I find a lot of people are very disrespectful and assuming, if I dress sexy, guys think I'm up for it and easy, in a swingers club I can walk around naked and no one assumes anything.

I would recommend a swingers club to single girls xxxx

You should, life is to short to wonder what if. I'm sure you'd have no trouble finding a willing chaperone for the night from this site be it a couple or a single guy.

Just be sure in your mind what you want from the experience, set your limits and know when to say no!

I am shy and worry about my body but there are people there of all ages and shapes and sizes.

I always had a great time.

I went Chams as thats where i had been (and still go) as a couple so i did know the club but i was still nervous the first time.

I had great fun so take the plunge and go

I would say that if you don't try something then you gain nothing.

If you try something and hate it at least you know more than you started out knowing.

If that makes sense.
