I prefer the sensation of actually striking with my palms, but unless you have an excellent technique, an iron will or an overload of serotonin you're going to tire quickly. Thuddy impact play is best in my book, and a hairbrush best of all - you can tease their flesh with the scratchy bristles, then instantly whip it around to land bare wood on the same spot...

Good points made here.

It's not all about pain. I'm not saying it doesn't hurt cos it really does but my Domme carefully takes me to a place, refered to as sub space, where I can then handle much more pain than if I were hit that hard at the start.

There's a lot to be said for playful spanking that just makes you tingle. A bit of pleasure more than pain.

I'm a bit messed up and have a 'need'.

We arnt into anything to painfull so the palm of the hand feels very nice but we have a few additions to our toy box . A very nice flat leather paddle and a leather cat of nine tails which adds a slight dimension to our play .
