Would this be rude?

When I first joined fab a few months ago, I messaged quite a lot of people straight away and because I was new, understandably I didn't get many replies.

However now I've been on here a while and updated my profile, do you think that it would be rude to message people again?

Let me know what you think, thanks

No just don't keep messaging the same people loads, I stick to 2 messages max and then leave it

It's not rude if you actually read the profile before messaging and tailor your message to what they are looking for or if you are what they are looking for ...

It is rude to send out a 'fancy a fuck' message

If you have messaged someone once and not received a reply, don't message again. If they had been interested, they would have replied.

I think 2 messages is right, some people get a ton of messages and I've had meets with people that have sent a second message because the first got missed. One message then maybe a second a week later?

In fact I've had two very enjoyable meets with people that tried again so thank God they did!

I would stop at 2 though!

There's still not much info in your profile tho is there? A few standard lines. Nothing that would make me look twice or think you were worth exploring I'm afraid x

I would stop at 1!

in fact what id do is block all those you messaged first that didn't reply and start again elsewhere

You Dont Need to Know, right now

IF it's months since you mailed them, and IF you have significantly improved your profile/added better pics since then, it wouldn't be out of order to mail them again. It may have been your old profile that was putting them off, so a new message (tailored to them) might get a different reply, now. However, you are still unverified, so it might be worth going along to a local social first, to try to get a verification. Then you can genuinely present yourself as more 'meet-able' than you were when you first joined.

I think if your profile is now better, you have more to offer now, and you write a relavant and personalised message, it doesn't hurt to try once more. Don't whatever you do send an identical message to last time. Some people, like myself, have very good memories, and it's very humorous when when someone bides their time for a few months, then sends an identical message, presumably assuming the first message won't be remembered.

youre still the same person no matter what your profile says so if it was a no the first time its likely to be no the second time, its YOU not your profile that people would be meeting
