Hotlist ?

What is the hotlist actually used for ? If I like someone and have been chatting a while I add them as friends ? And I keep messages (for reference) if I have just started talking to someone ?

Is the hotlist similar to your friends list and does the person know they are on yours or vice versa ?

it's handy for stalking people, that's about it.

i add people to it who i want to chat to often so i can see when they're online.

random people are getting added to my friendslist for some reason (reason being the lists on this site are not working as they should).

the hotlist i can keep small and is easier to use.

you can use either though yes.

I use my hotlist to keep an eye on those I would like to meet, so I can see if they update there status to say they are meeting.

One on my hotlist I have met and played, the others, around half a dozen, I still hope to meet up with at some point.

Some people use their hotlist as an avoid list but for people they don't want to block. Others use it as a perve list and others a wish list. So many different uses

We use it as a way to keep track of profiles that have caught our eye, but we've not chatted to yet (plus some real hotties just to see their new pics)

Would love a "not list" as well, just a little icon so you know you're not interested, we don't like to block people unless they deserve it

people on your hotlist appear first on the homepage feed, so that's handy i guess. although your friends appear next so if you had no hotlist your friends would appear first.

I think of it as a wish list where as the friends list is a to do list

Hotlist is for some a not list, I. e. they keep tabs on people they don't want to meet.

I use it for some I would like to meet who are miles away, or I am outside their age range... they are there if I am in the right part of the country or they change age limits then I can message.

It's a tool to make the site work for you, use it your way or not at all its harmless

We use it for people we are not quite ready to add to our friends list but would still like to keep In touch as we regularly empty or mail box it's easy to lose track of the people you like

How we use it: if one of us spots a potential profile during a search, one of us will add it to our hotlist for the other to view later.

We use it when we find someone we want to message but don't have much time due to work etc. We can then message them at a later date without the need to search for them again. As we message people we delete from hotlist

We use it as a total perve list Mostly for people who are way out of our league and who's new pics bring a ray of sexy sunlight into our day!

You Dont Need to Know, right now

Friends list is all very well, but it enables people to see 'friends only' pictures. And women/couples get hundreds of unsolicited friends requests, just for this. Hotlist is a step short of this ... it's a way of keeping an eye on people who you don't want to show your private pictures to (yet).

Ours is probably a bit of a perve list. It's also our wish list, but we haven't got round to establishing contact, therefore not on our friends list yet.

It's a perving tool. If you're out if their age range, or say... 4500 miles away, but you think she's fun to look at, the hot list allows me...erm, uh, you.... to keep up with their public postings.

The hot listee does not get notified that they've been added to somebody's list.

I generally pop people on my hot list that I like the look of, see how they act on the site before messaging them.

I also use it for perving at pics both male & female / people who make me laugh say in the forums / and others that just need keeping an eye on...

As a single man I find it is pointless messaging women when they are off-line so the ones I like most I add to my hot-list, when I check my list I can see whose on-line and try and start a conversation. Which is exactly how I got myself a meet on Saturday night

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

I use my hot list for three main reasons.

1. Perv material

2. Ladies who's profiles interest me and I'll be messaging when I've a bit more time

3. Some folks status updates make me chuckle, the rants are fantastic.

I use it if I talk to someone but they don't wanna add me as a mate yet. I lose people's profile's a lot :') I also use it when I'm slightlt outside someone's age range, like a year or so, so I keep them there ready for when I turn that age
