We're fairly new to the swinging scene, we like the idea of going to a club but as the title says we're a bit nervous. Mainly about what to expect and what would be expected of us.

I'm a single woman, play and visit clubs on my own. Like an ordinary night out but people dress sexy and there's a chance to play if you meet people you click with......what's not to like! Nothing scary at all. Just healthy anticipation!

give the club a call and chat about the place. Yous can go just for a social only visit. No way are you expected to play.

You do whatever you're comfortable with. Your under no pressure to do anything. Great way to have fun. With added extra's if you want it. Perfect night out .

Chameleons at Newport is in your area. It's a really fun club. Friendly staff and good facilities. I haven't been for a couple of years, but why not give them a call and find out more.

Don't have expectations (we all have unfortunately) but go have drink just to relax and yeah open mind .

I had fairly good first out in the club had to much to drink though

Go to a social? You'll meet people without the pressures of playing and lots of people will fill you in about what clubs are like.

We had the same concerns before we went to a club that first time. Within ten mins inside and chatting to a few people at the bar we realised we had nothing to worry about.

A couples night is a good place to start.

You won't get pounced on by anyone whenever you go and no one expects anything from you at all. You can go along and just watch if you want. We've been lots since and sometimes we just go along and play with each other all night and almost forget anyone else is there.

When I went I found people were more polite than in a normal pub. Didn't attempt to touch in any way without permission. You don't have to play at all. Just go without any expectations and see it as a night in a club, but people get naked.

We were nervous on our first visit. They soon go ??

We found it a really good atmosphere, people doing what they liked without being judged. Don't feel you have to get involved, we just took it all in and spoke to people our first time. Highly recommend a visit to one. Enjoy ??

Took us a few times of going to a club before we did anything.

First time we went I was stunned the people were actually having sex! Hubby had to keep telling me to stop gawking! He said what did I expect to happen in a club? Bit like going to see a footie match and being surprised they are playing a game.

Go, you will enjoy being amongst like-minded people. Its sooooo liberating!

Confusing reply, the assumption is that on a site like this they are just asking about going to a Swingers club, I am a seasoned and regular club-goer and I have no idea why your reply is about normal bar, nightclub, or spa type? What do they have to do with it?

I am myself nervous about going on Tuesday for my first club experience.

i think I'm just going to go with the mindset that I'll just be going to socialise rather than play although if I've got a major erection going on and I get an offer who knows. It's a bonus

As the question qas about swingers clubs the reply meant swingers clubs that were more normal nightclub style swingers clubs. As against the wet club style or spa type swingers club.

Thats the first time I've seen categories like that? It doesnt reflect the clubs I've been visiting (About 14 different ones, last time I counted.) Never mind, it's hardly that important in real life.

I'm looking to go to a club for the first time. I would rather go with a female who has been before tho. Show me the ropes of the club.

The OP was from Swansea, so the Chameleons in Newport I referred to is the one in Newport, South Wales. Not Newport Shropshire, nor Newport Isle of Wight

We went to our first club about a month back (vanilla alternative) and we were very nervous as not only was it our first club visit, but also our first dip into swinging. We went with no preconceptions other than to enjoy ourselves. We didn't play with anyone else (likely too large for many) however we had a good time in the hot tub. Going back again on friday to the bi night. If you dont want to play with anyone, you dont have to. Just go, have a look and get a feel for what goes on, you will love it

the unknown is scary..but take this with you as i did when i went to a club for the first time by myself..its only going to be unknown for the first 30 seconds or less..then you can start exporing at your own place the layout of your new knowledge...people are right its friendlier than a pub or normal club or party and no one expects anything from you at all...everyone was a newbie once and most are very aware of what that felt like..im sure you will be welcomed and shown around and probably introduced to a few staff or regulars, who will just kindly ask if you are ok throughout the evening...relax and have a wonderful time xx

Another thing to add, remember that you are going to a swingers club, therefore everyone is there for the same reason, to put their winky into a pinky, or rub winkies together, even rub pinkies together. Once you get overbthe first 10 or 15 minutes you will be fine

When we went for the first time we picked a newby night and knew it would be quiet....which it was but it got us in the door which was the main objective. We have been told to go on a busier night, that way you can blend in easier but each to their own

Is there any that you can dress in your own clothes etc as she's nervous about dressing down ..?

You can wear all in one sexy undies and they give you a towel to wrap around your waist if you're nervous. I go with some ladies quite often and we have a giggle and socialise as much as anything
