That's a very good point. And raises the question, is it possible to make a judgement on someone from their photos? Like you I always get to know someone before even considering a meet, and if that takes a bit longer then, then it's worth it in the end. However am I wrong or shallow for only bothering to get to know those whose pics appeal to me, and not taking the time for those who have pics I don't like? Possibly I am. But at the end of the day, I have to choose who I get to know, so if the choice is between a profile with photos I like, and photos I don't like, then it's only human nature to deviate towards the photos that I do like. Am I missing out by not giving a chance to men with pictures that don't appeal? Again possibly I am. But it's simply not possibly to get to know everybody, therefore I have to make a snap judgement on what I find appealing.

Some men set up their profiles to please themselves, and that's fine. Some men set up their profiles because they think that's what women find attractive. And some men know what turns women on, and therefore post pictures accordingly. I personally like a man who understands what turns a woman on. Realise it's a difficult call to make, because different women like different things, but there are some common themes as to what most women don't like. A hot torso shot gets me every time, but if you've got a pretty face too then show it off, or even attach it.

I don't mind seeing cock pictures on profiles, but if it's taken close up at every angle going with nothing else, I do tend to worry what's wrong with the rest of their body that they're not showing it.

Getting a friend to help is great, or a timer on your phone, selfie angles aren't always the most flattering.

OP - you should tell your friend to Google "dudedoir", there's loads of ideas that are fun and sexy at the same time x
